                             Referral Policy

Objective
To lay down the guidelines on ‘Referral Policy’

Salient Features

• Candidates hired to experienced professional requisitions and with experience 
are eligible for employee referral bonus.
• This policy does not apply to employee’s working in Human Resource function 
and employees falling in Bands 3/2/1.(Senior Management)
• Policy does not apply to hiring managers (Team Leads/Managers referring for 
positions that directly report to them).
• Referrers cannot participate in the hiring activity of the concerned referral and 
must remain in active employment (active employment means the person is not 
serving notice) with Pandit Ventures Pvt Ltd at the time of payment to be 
eligible to receive the referral bonus 
• If the referred candidate or the referrer is serving the notice period when the 
award is due, then the referrer is not eligible for receiving the payment.
• In order to be eligible for the referral fee, referred candidates must be 
personally/ professionally known to the employee who refers him/her 
connections and not through any recruitment agency or external sources.
• The Referrer’s involvement is limited only to the submission of the resume to 
HR Team.
• In case the resume is already available in the data bank the referral will not be 
considered and informed to the respective employee within 2 weeks.
• Referral Rewards will be taxable as per taxation rules prevailing at that point 
of time whenever applicable.

Validity:

• An employee referral is valid for 6 months & eligible for award provided the 
applicant has not been referred to the company by any other source/s within the
previous 6 months.
• If more than one employee has referred the same candidate, then the employee 
who first referred will be rewarded. In the event of any dispute, the decision of 
the Head HR shall be final.
• The referred candidate and the referrer must be on the payroll when the 
payments are made to the referrer after completion of 3 months and subject to 
the payroll cut­off date.

Procedure

• An email requesting for employee referral would be circulated fortnightly to the 
employees by the HR team
• Employee may refer individuals who fit the specifications given in job 
descriptions for vacant positions through a link provided in the mailer or by an 
email
• HR team will share a response on duplicacy and suitability for the vacant 
position within 2 weeks to the referrer.
• Suitable candidates would be invited to participate in the selection process by 
HR team. 
• The candidate referred must fill in the candidate information form (Annexure 
A) mentioning the source as employee referral and details of the employee 
during the time of interview.
• The referred candidate will undergo the regular recruitment procedure as per 
the norms and selection will be considered only if met with the requirements of 
the existing vacant position.
• The employee making the referral will not in any way be involved with the 
interview or salary fixation of the candidate.
• The HR team would inform the concerned referee upon selection of their 
referral post sharing an offer to the candidate.
• The HR team and the referrer to follow­up with the candidate till on boarding.
• If the referred candidate is hired, the referrer is eligible for the monetary award
as defined below:

Astrologer ( 55181 & GS Talk) 2000 INR
Astrologer ­Web ­Full time 2000 INR
Executive & Sr Executive 1000 INR
Manager and Above 1500 INR
