To qualify as an ACCA member, you will need to complete:
Exams - a minimum of five of 14 exams (nine are eligible for exemption*)
Experience - record 36 months' experience in a relevant role
Ethics - the Professional Ethics module.

ACCA COURSE DETAILS
Minimum Eligibility:
A Senior School Certificate 10+2/CBSE/ICSE/State Board
A pass in 5 subjects is required, including English and Mathematics/Accounts
Course Duration:
All 14 papers can be completed in 2.5 years if one paper is given every Quarter
In addition, in order to attain the ACCA membership, there is a requirement to complete the
Ethics module and have 3 years practical work experience which can be gained before,
alongside or after studies
Exam Schedule:
Exams can be taken every quarter viz.,

Exams (F1-F4) are computer based exams and can be scheduled any time during the year. Whereas,
F5 onwards are paper based exams and can be taken in the above mentioned months as per the
time table issued by ACCA. There is no grouping of exams, you may take one exam at a time or a
maximum of 4 exams in a session.

Exemptions from ACCA exams are given basis your previous qualification,
B.Com / M.Com – Exemption from Upto 4 exams
BBA / MBA (Finance) - Exemption from Upto 3 exams
CA – Exemption from Upto 9 exams (If qualified post 2003)

On your way to ACCA membership, there are lots of qualifications you can achieve along the way. You
can achieve:

BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Accounting awarded by Oxford Brookes University
Masters in Professional Accountancy from University of London
BSc degree in Applied Accounting
If you didn't study an undergraduate degree course at university, then you can still have the chance
to gain a degree while studying to become a qualified accountant with ACCA.
ACCA has a partnership with Oxford Brookes University. This means you can gain a BSc (Hons) degree
in Applied Accounting while you work towards achieving your ACCA Qualification. And you won't have
to double your workload as it requires you to only submit a Research report and does not involve any
additional exams.
Masters degree from University of London
We know ACCA’s flexibility and portability are big factors for students when making their decision
about which path to take, and ACCA, and the University of London have just increased that access and
flexibility.
Here, the first three essential ACCA professional papers will be credited by the University of London
for its Masters degree and at this point the student become eligible to register for the degree with the
University. In order to successfully pass the Masters degree, students will be required to complete
two professional modules, which offer synergy between the University of London and the ACCA
