MINUTES OF THE LAC SESSION


2nd Division Learning Action Cell
MATHEMATICS
February 15, 2019
Bicol Regional Science High School

1. The DLAC session started at 8:03 AM.


2. The breakout session started with an Opening Prayer led by Mrs. Mirasol Genovea, a
faculty member of Bicol Regional Science High School. [2 min]
3. Singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Ligao City Hymn with Mrs. Genovea as
conductor.
4. Presentation of the 2nd DLAC session was done by Mrs. Cherry Lita, BRSHS teacher by
calling the name of the school and the number of present teacher participants. [3 min]
5. Mrs. Lilli Ann Hermogenes, EPS in Math, gave to the teacher participants the overview of
the 2nd DLAC Session. [28 min]
a. Session 1: (Morning) Unpacking the Learning Standards
b. Session 2: Presentation of Accomplished DLP/DLL.
c. Session 2: (Afternoon) Small Group Discussion (SGD) Presentation and
Constructive Reviewing of other DLPs/DLLs.
6. “Session 1: Unpacking of Learning Standards” was discussed by Mrs. Lilli Ann
Hermogenes. She stressed that although the Department of Education already provided
the Curriculum Guide/Map where each of the Learning Competencies (LC) were given
respective timeframe, there is still a need to unpack LCs into smaller (SMART)
components. [1 hr 20 min ]
7. Mrs. Hermogenes also shared to the group that there were selected teachers who
became part of the team who served as division writers of DLP/DLL to the selected
Learning Competencies in Grade 7 to be submitted to the Regional Office.
8. “Session 2: Presentation of Accomplished/Reviewed DLP/DLL” was led by Mr. Ryan
Casulang, MATALI President and one of the selected writers. He explained how the DLL
was reviewed by the team and verified by the KOs (Knowledgeable Others).
9. Lunch break was declared at 12:10 PM.
10. The session resumed at 1:05PM
11. The teacher participants were divided into 2 smaller groups: Mrs. Nidua and Mr. Casulang
as KOs for each group.
12. In session 3, other writers presented their DLP/DLL and the other participants helped by
giving feedbacks to improve the plan. [2 hours]
13. Closing remarks and awarding of certificate of participation/appearance was held after
led by the EPS herself, Mrs. Hermogenes.
14. The session ended at 4:00PM.
