IndHOUSEtrial
The Industrial Playhome

The design seeks to merge the professional and playful approach in achieving a contemporary
looking home. Industrial look is achieved by using bare looking elements with a high-end approach.
Playhome is achieved by merging kiddie elements in the design, making usable spaces for kids to live
in. Rustic elements will also be used to make it homey and classy at the same time. The
IndHOUSEtrial concept will help your family appreciate the business you are in, construction. Giving
you pride in what you do and letting other people understand what they do specially your children.

Key Design Elements:

Storage Spaces
The structure will be provided with adequate storage spaces placed strategically inside the
building. These storage spaces can help in organizing professional, personal and business
stuffs and can help achieve the industrial theme by using elements that is being used in the
field or offices.

Mood Shift
The design will give life to a mood shift concept by making the living area/kids area different
for the owners’ areas. The mood shift is executed by using a darker scheme for the master’s
bedroom and personal office areas. Lighting elements will also be warmer to achieve this
shift. The design seeks to provide a more relaxing and laid back feel to this intimate areas.

Fire Exit
The existing fire exit will be decorated with a full-framed tempered glass that is used to
conceal the exit and provide the illusion of more space. It will span from the ground floor to
the third floor making it appear as a giant accent wall.

2F Area
The second floor area is designated as the Living Room and the Kids Area. This will be
comprised of the kid’s bedroom and the family living room with small dining area. The
Dining area will use a bar type configuration with two high-chair set. The Kids bedroom will
have elevated flooring with a sliding glass partition to maximize air-conditioning use. The
living area is merged with the kids’ room by placing the television in the second floor and
sofa set. Everyone will enjoy activities like film showing in this area. A Toilet and Bath with
Closet will be provided in the second floor. The closet is placed under the staircase to utilize
the spaces.

Mezzanine
The mezzanine area is designated as the Masters Bedroom area. Laid back and homey feel
will be used in this area. An entertainment wall will be provided for you to let you enjoy
intimate moments together. Shift from lighter to darker color scheme will be used to shift
the mood from the family area to the master’s bedroom. Storage spaces will be strategically
placed for the owners use. In the mezzanine an office den is placed to accommodate
immediate business concerns.
3F Area
The third floor area will serve as an extension of the Master’s Bedroom. The Master Walk-in
closet is placed in this floor and the Toilet and Bath. The personal office space is designed for
making important business activities that needs quality focus. Office furniture and storage
spaces will be strategically placed in this area. A coffee table is placed in the landing area
from the mezzanine to the third floor. This will let the owners have chitchat over coffee,
make breakfast decisions, or for just their coffee enjoyment. Access from before renovation
is retained to this floor.

It is possible to merge industrial look and kiddie homey look; with VA+ architectural possibilities are endless.
