GUN-OB ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

MINUTES OF THE FIRST HOMEROOM PTA MEETING

Date: June 10, 2019


Time Started: 3:15 P.M
Time Ended: 5:05 P.M

Preparatory Activities: It started with a prayer led by Ms. Charlyn Amoroto.


Attendance: 100% of the class attended the meeting. Attached are the name and signature
of parents/guardians.

AGENDA:

I. SCHOOL/CLASSROOM RULES

 Parents were reminded that pupils should come to school on/before time.
 Absences should be avoided. If and when pupil is can’t come to class on a certain
day/s, an excuse letter with parent’s/guardian’s signature should be presented.
 Proper haircut for boys and hair should be tied for girls.
 Wear appropriate attire for parents/guardians (no sleeveless, spaghetti strap, short
shorts, etc.)
 No expensive jewelries or cellphones for kids.
 Gates will be closed from 7:30am to 11:30am and 1:00pm to 3:30pm.

II. GRADING SYSTEM

 Encourage pupils to perform and participate well in class.

III. ELECTION OF OFFICERS

 Teacher led the election of officers and ended up nominating good/responsible leaders.

IV. HOMEROOM PROJECT

 Parents have agreed that the upcoming homeroom project would be a printer and memory
card. The amount that will be contributed is 205php each and should be given onor before
31st of July 2019.

V. CLASSROOM CLEANERS

 Parents agreed that if they won’t be able to clean the room, they have to contribute 5 pesos.
The funds that will be collected will be added to pupil’s activities (Christmas Party or any other
classroom activities).
 Each group has an assigned group leader to collect the penalties.
 Each group will provide cleaning materials (broom, dust pan, rags and etc.)

VI. GUARD / JANITOR

 Additional 5 – 7 pesos contribution for our guard and janitor and will be collected on or before
15th of December 2019.

VII. CLASSROOM NEEDS

 Parents pledged to provide some of the classroom needs.


o CLOCK – Estelita Andales
o TV Cover – Femichelle Tevra
o Slippers – Virna Raymundo and Allen Estiola
o Brooms and Big Rag – by Group

VIII. MATH PARK / GARDENING

 Grade 2 pupils are assigned to build Math Park.


 Materials needed such as cement, bamboo, brush and paint are open to be pledged by
those who are willing to.
 Gardening at the back are planned to be beautified and improved.
