This letter is a request from two theology students at Mountain View College to the board of Lilingayon SDA Church for permission to conduct training activities with the children, youth, and parents of the church from March to June 2019. The training would focus on child and youth evangelism as well as nurturing members to become disciples of Jesus for evangelism. The students see a need to teach holistic growth and connect children and youth to experiencing life in the church, especially in evangelism. Subject: Requesting Letter to Lilingayon SDA Church for the short training and activities
required by Child and Youth Evangelism & Nurturing and Discipleship Subjects

Dear Elders,

We are writing this letter to ask the permission from your church to allow us as the
student church pastors of the Ministerial Seminar (MS) to participate and involve in your
church’s activities for one summer from March to June, 2019 for the purpose to train the
children, young people and parents in your church concerning the child and youth
evangelism and also how to nurture the old and new members to be the disciples of Jesus
for evangelism.

In seeing the need that: “Today children will become the parents of tomorrow and the
leader of church for the future,” this short program attempts to teach the children and
young people to feel the need of their holistic growth: in physical, mental, social,
emotional and spiritual and connect their God’s gift of growth to experience their lives in
the life of the church, particular in evangelism. In addition, this program also aim to train
the young parents how to nurture their children and making them be the disciples of Jesus
at home, church and in our community.
