I certify that I have inspected the MOHAMED SATHAK ENGINEERING
COLLEGE, on 02.07.2015, that is located at SURVEY NOS :329, 330, 331/2, 331/3, ECR
ROAD IN MAYAKULAM VILLAGE RAMNAD DITRICT , PIN– 623 806
The following buildings were inspected by me,
1) MAIN BLOCK - GROUND FLOOR +2 - R.C.C ROOFING ONE BUILDING ONLY.
The certificate covers the above mentioned buildings only and does not include any
other structures or buildings. I found that there is no visible defects noticed in the buildings and it
is structurally sound to run the College.
This Certificate does not include any eventualities caused by Natural Calamities.
Periodical repairs and renovations will be carried out to the entire buildings then and there
whenever necessary.
This Certificate does not include any thatched sheds. If any Alteration/ Deviation should
not be carried out to any of the blocks without prior permission from the competent authority.
Further if any above mentioned aspects were found at a later date after issue of this Certificate
/License, this certificate gets invalid.

STRUCTURAL SOUNDNESS
Form of certificate of structural soundness under sub section (4) of section of 4 of the Madras
Public Buildings (Licensing Act 1963 Madras Act 13 of 1965 referred to in rule 4 of the Madras Public
Building (Licensing) rules 1977.
Certify that I have inspected the building mentioned in the statement below and I have satisfied
myself the building is structural sound to be used as a public building for the purpose note in the
statement. The structural soundness of the building has been verified taking into account the loading as
per the latest Indian standard 875.

FORM OF CERTIFICATE OF STRUCTURAL SOUNDNESS UNDER SUBSECTION (4) OF SECTION 4 OF THE
TAMIL NADU PUBLIC BUILDING (LICENSING ACT 1965 (TAMIL NADU ACT 1 OF 1965) REFERRED TO IN
RULE OF THE TAMIL NADU PUBLIC (LICENSING) RULES 1966.
I certify that I have inspected the building mentioned in the statement and furnished below its
salient technical features.
1. FOUNDATION:
I) Depth below ground level : 1.83M.
ii) Nature of soil set out in the foundation. : GRAVEL
iii) Pressure at foundation : UPWARD PRESSURE:100 KN / M2
iv) Probable safe bearing capacity Of the foundation : 210 KN / M2
2. SUPERSTRUCTURE:

The structural soundness of the building has been verified by me with reference to ISI loading
standards 895 (latest version) and other relevant Indian Standard code of practices I declare that the
building is structurally sound to be used as a public building for the purpose noted in the statement.
A license may be granted for the period from 02.07.2015 to 01.06.2018.
