Monologue Performance Rubric

The monologue performance rubric evaluates students on seven criteria for a monologue performance on a scale of 1 to 4. It assesses comprehension of the text, memorization, focus, characterization, vocal delivery, physical delivery, energy, and provides an overall score. A score of 4 represents mastery in the category, 3 is solid, 2 is satisfactory, and 1 needs improvement. It is used to provide feedback to help students strengthen their monologue performance skills.
