My Allaah, irretrievable is our plight, our
helplessness causes pain and trouble,

ْ ‫ا‬ ‫و‬ ‫اء‬‫ط‬َ ِ

(now our) urgency has been laid bare
(before Thee), (all) hopes have been cut
off,

the (plentiful) earth has shrunk (with very
little to spare) for us, the heavenly
blessings have been withheld,

ْ ُ َ ْ َ ‫ان َو إ‬
ُ ‫ستَ َع‬ ‫م‬

we call upon Thee for help, we refer our
grief and sorrow to Thee,

‫الش َّد ِة َو‬


ِّ ‫َو َعمَ ْي َك ا ْل ُم َع َّو ُل ِفي‬
ِ ‫الر َخ‬
‫اء‬ َّ
we have full faith in Thee, in the time of
distress as well as in good fortune.

‫آل ُم َح َّم ٍد‬

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad
and on the children of Muhammad,

‫اعتَ ُه ْم‬

the "Ulil Amr" (authority), obedience to
whom has been made obligatory,

‫َو َعَّرْفتََنا ِب َذِل َك َم ْن ِزلَتَ ُه ْم‬


through which their high status has been
made known.
Duá al Faraj

ِ ‫فَفَِّر ْج َع َّنا ِب َحقِّ ِهم فَرجاً َع‬


ً‫اجال‬ َ ْ
Therefore let there be joy after sorrow for
us for their sake, right away,

in the twinkle of an eye, more rapidly.

‫َيا ُم َح َّم ُد َيا َعِم ُّي َيا َعِم ُّي َيا ُم َح َّم ُد‬
O Muhammad, O AIi, O Ali, O Muhammad,
Duá al Faraj

ِ ‫ا ْك ِفي ِاني فَِإ َّن ُكما َك‬


ِ ‫اف َي‬
‫ان‬ َ َ
Give me enough, because both of you
provide sufficiently,
Duá al Faraj

ِ ‫و ا ْنصر ِاني فَِإ َّن ُكما َن‬


ِ ‫اص َر‬
‫ان‬ َ َُ َ
and help me, because both of you help
and protect.

O Our Master, O the Authority of our times
