1. The Ministry of Railways has decided to increase the monetary ceiling for declaring private cash before duty. The ceiling for stationary staff has increased from Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 5,000 and for mobile staff from Rs. 750 to Rs. 1,500. 2. Railway staff are to be immediately informed of the new ceilings through necessary instructions. 3. The circular was issued to provide information and ensure necessary corrections are made to coaching tariffs.
