Responsibilities:-
Project engineering end to end execution activities- painting, insulation, fabrication,
piping, structural supports. Manpower management, site supervision. Lifting &
erection plan
Maintain enquiry log and ongoing job log., making MIS reports.
Analyze drawing and Technical specifications. Follow up Stage wise inspection
Prepare RFQ, BOQ by Extracting from fabrication drawing/Assembly drawing.
Coordination with Store, Production, Civil, Mechanical, piping, marketing department
Develop and verify MTOs, equipment and bulk quantities against P&IDs and
drawings. Line up project wise activities and its daily follow up.
Technical documentation, reports, billing report passing to senior management.
Review safety compliance with defined scope of work. EQUIPMENTS HANDLED: Heat
Exchanger, PIPING,Valves,vessel, columns,reactor, filter strainers and its Maintenance
too..
Supervising shop activities, maintain work front as per order priority.
Vendor management, contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract

Making QA/QC reports during and taking third party recommendations.
Review of Project Specification, Contract Scope, Project Schedule and updation
Execution Schedule & Hydro Test Package for Site Clearance Area,
Reviewing Isometric Drawings, P&ID and GAD developments.
Preparation of detailed MTO & BOM for tendering & making negotiations with
vendors for sub-contractors.
Preparing of Method Statement, various operating and maintenance
procedures ,Material Approval Request and inventory control.
Review of Piping Class, Inspection and Test Plan, JHA, Welding Procedure
Specification, Blasting and Painting Specification & Procedure etc.
Review of piping isometric drawings, P &ID/Support drawings/Method Statements.
Execution, Inspection, Supervision and co-ordination of above ground and
underground piping System.
Preparation and Monitoring of Weekly & Monthly Execution Schedule.
Co-ordinate NDT Sub contractor to execute NDT, PWHT and Hardness Test etc.
Preparation of Monthly and Weekly progress report.
Preparation of Construction Activity schedule and Coordinating with planning
department to meet the project targets and milestones.
Coordinate with Clients, Design and Engineering departments in order to solve the
technical problems & Engineering issues.
Production monitoring and expediting of deliverables. Preparing material take off and

Preparation of Hydro Test pack, Planning and execution of Preparatory activities.
Execute Hydro test, Pneumatic test and Pre-commissioning, Commissioning activities
Familiarize with contract document, scope of work, International standards and
Quality control procedures to be used in the project.
Determining Field Joints and Spooling for the ISO’s received from Clients.
Provide technical answers to Engineering Queries raised up by the subcontractor
conforming design drawings and standard required.
Responsible for coordinating Reinstatement, Painting & Insulation, pre-
commissioning and commissioning activities.
Preparing and maintaining proper documentation regarding execution and extra jobs
done for the smooth evaluation of the progress and to support the bill.
Conduct all activities in safe efficient manner in accordance with the company’s
policies and procedures.
Aware with phases of projects ,tendering ,estimation, procurement, planning,
execution, billing completion within stipulated time period.
NATURE OF JOB:
Traceability of materials with respect to Mill Certificate for the receiving
material like Pipes, Plates, Flanges, Elbows etc.
Preparing Quality assurance plan. And Inspection Test Plan as per client
specification and quality requirements.
Check Test the material if required and compare with ASME
Preparation of WPS and PQR as per ASME Section IX
Stage Inspection is followed as per quality assurance plan.
Welding Inspection, visual inspection of Joint fit-ups. In process and completed
Welding inspection on various materials. Monitoring of welding parameters during
procedure Qualification Testing. Witness Welder Qualification tests.
Welding Inspection duties including setup in process inspection.
Welder’s Performance, Production Testing and welding supervision.
Inspection Planning and Execution.
Raising the NCR for the concern department who is going against the QAP,
Approved work Procedure, Quality and system.
Offering inspection to client witness point as per quality assurance plan.
Analyzing production process to the entire satisfaction of client quality.
Continuous improvement in the welding quality by implementing new
Technique in the welding.
Maintaining the ISO Document for Auditing purpose.
Conducting Internal inspection and maintaining documents.
Paining inspection and making inspection reports.
Co-ordination of NDT activities if required.
Mechanical clearance for NDT Cleared Loops.
Conduct Hydro test for M/C cleared Loops
Updating and maintaining the Calibration status for all instruments.
Involved in handling all types of welding work like Arc, Tig & Sub-Arc welder, in
Heavy Structural and Piping work at Fabrication.
All round Welding experience of Arc & Tig Welding in Ship repair & Oil Refinery

All pressure parts, Turbines, Power Plant, Refinery Plant, Rig Beam etc.
THE DETAILS OF MY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
In charge of all Pipe Welding activities.
Maintaining documentation in regard to drawing and daily / Weekly progress
report.
Assess Manpower and consumable requirement based on production norms
and
priorities and allotted tasks to ensure resources are deployed with maximum
effectiveness.
Provided Technical advise and training for the solving of more critical problems
referred by Charge Hand and Welder to develop their level and competence.
Prepare regular report on work progress and forecasting for analysis by
Engineer.
Co-ordinate with other trade disciplines and sections to ensure integration of
work.
Receive and review assignments for short term work programs from Engineer.
Co-ordinate with QC department for inspections.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES :
Finalizing all Welding Inspection, documentation, Quality control and
witnessing of Punch site.
Organizing and conducting the weekly meeting with a Team of Foreman and
Charge Hand .
Ensuring the safe and economic access is provided for the craft worker.
Ensuring that all Foreman and workers are conforming to site following Safety
Rules and Regulations.
Ensuring that all the Welding Jobs are carried out according to site Welding
procedures.
Ensuring that Welding schedules are met and still working within the site
following Safety Regulations.
Ensuring that the materials and workers are available to meet the site welding
requirement.
Ensuring that all the documentation are adhered to tool box talks, harness,
inspection, site request system and Pipe welding system and safety reports.
Ensuring that work force maintained good housing keeping practice throughout
the area.
