HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SUAMI DENGAN KEJADIAN DEPRESI POSTPARTUM
PADA IBU NIFAS
Abstract
In Indonesia the number of Post Partum Depression (DPP) turn out to be higher than the figure
of the other countries in Asia. The prevalence of the DPP in the DR. Sardjito Yogyakarta
Hospital was approximately 11.3% for mild depression, 1.9% for middle depression, and 0.5%
for the heavy DPP, RS Hasan Sadikin Bandung recorded the occurrences of the DPP was 33%.
In Lampung, post depression incidence number is not yet known for sure. In the health area of
Rumbia, the BPM pre results based on a survey of 22 postpartum mothers experiencing
postpartum depression known as 31,8%. The purpose of the research was to determine the
relationship between the husband's support with postpartum depression occurrence on parturition
relic of mother in Rumbia Health Center and Putra Rumbia Health Center Lampung Tengah.
The study was analytic with Cross Sectional approach. The population were this research is the
entire capital region parturition in Rumbia Health Center and Putra Rumbia Health Center
Lampung Tengah in 2013 with a sample of 111 respondents.The technique of the sampling was
non probability sampling with consecutive sampling types. The way to collect the data was using
interviews method with the measurement tool questionnaire. The analysis of the data used
univariate analysis and bivariate analysis by using chi square test and multivariate. The results
showed that the proportion of mothers with depression on parturition as much as 53.2%. There
was a relationship between postpartum depression with husband’s support (p value 0.000), after
such confounding variables are controlled by age, parity and education. In Conclusion, there was
a significant relationship between postpartum depression with husband’s support of parturition
mother, so in midwifery services, the midwife is suggested to not only emphasize the physical
aspect, but also covers the psychological aspects of mental and emotional readiness, by involving
the role of the husband, and family so that mothers can adapt the change of emotions and can
increased through pregnancy, delivery and parturition, with great sense of happiness and well-
being.
Abstrak
Di Indonesia angka kejadian Depresi post partum (DPP) ternyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan
dengan angka kejadian di negara-negara lain di Asia. Prevalensi DPP di RSUP DR. Sardjito
Yogyakarta sekitar 11,3% untuk depresi ringan, DPP sedang 1,9% dan 0,5% untuk DPP berat,
RS Hasan Sadikin Bandung mencatat kejadian DPP 33%, RSUP Cipto Mangunkusumo Jakarta
angka DPP sebesar 33%. Di Lampung angka kejadian depresi post partum belum diketahui
secara pasti. Di BPM wilayah puskesmas Rumbia berdasarkan hasil pra survey terhadap 22 ibu
postpartum diketahui yang mengalami depresi postpartum sebesar 31,8%. Tujuan penelitian
adalah menentukan hubungan antara dukungan suami dengan kejadian depresi postpartum pada
ibu nifas diwilayah Puskesmas Rumbia dan Putra Rumbia Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini
adalah analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh
ibu nifas diwilayah Puskesmas Rumbia dan Putra Rumbia Lampung Tengah Tahun 2013 dengan
sampel sebesar 111 responden.Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan non probability sampling
dengan jenis consecutive sampling. Cara pengumpulan data metode wawancara dengan alat
ukur kuisioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan
uji chi square dan multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proporsi ibu nifas dengan
depresi sebanyak 53,2%. Ada hubungan antara depresi postpartum dengan dukungan suami (p
value 0,000), setelah dikontrol oleh variable confounding seperti usia, paritas dan pendidikan.
Kesimpulan penelitian terdapathubungan yang signifikan depresi postpartum dengan dukungan
suami pada ibu nifas, sehingga bidan disarankan dalam memberikan pelayanan kebidanan tidak
semata-mata menekankan pada aspek fisik, tetapi juga aspek psikologis mencakup kesiapan
mental dan emosi, dengan melibatkan peran suami, dan keluarga sehingga ibu dapat
mengadaptasi peningkatan perubahan emosi dan dapat melalui masa kehamilan, persalinan dan
nifas, dengan penuh rasa kebahagiaan dan kesejahteraan.
