2. Experiments on the Application of principle of motion economy Two handed process chart
3. Exercises on conducting method study for assembling simplecomponents and office work.
4. Development of Layout plans using SLP technique
5. Experiments on Line balancing.
PART B – WORK MEASUREMENT
6. Rating practice using walking simulator
7. Rating practice using pin board assembly
8. Rating practice for dealing a deck of cards
9. Rating practice for marble collection activity
10. Determining the standard time for simple operations using stopwatch time study
11. Exercises on estimating standard time using PMTS.
12. Determination of standard time using PDA device and time study
software
13. Experiments on office work measurement through work sampling
14. Measurement of parameters (heart beat rate, calorie consumption) using walking simulator
15. Measurement of parameters (heart beat rate, calorie consumption, revolutions per minute) using ergometer
16. Effect of Noise, Light, Heat on human efficiency in work environments.
Note: Minimum 14 Exercises to be conducted in this lab.

E7 Performance rating for dealing cards
Aim:
To practice learn the performance rating for the given activity of dealing a deck of cards
Activity :
Dealing a deck of playing card. A deck consists of 52 cards.
Time required :
The normal time required for dealing a deck of cards is 22.5 secs on the British standard 75-100 or 0-100 scale.
E8 Rating of walking (using tread mill)
Aim:
To rate the operator according to pace with corresponds to the standard rating
Activity:
Walking on walking simulator
