The portable CXDI-50G and CXDI-50C is only 0.9 in (23 mm)
thick and weighs just 10.6 lb (4.8kg), making it ideal for use in a
variety of radiographic applications, including trauma and bedside
exams. The compact design makes it easy to capture the images
you need from almost any angle or position, and the unit is light
enough for even patients to hold with ease.

Large Imaging Area

The CXDI-50G and CXDI-50C boasts a large imaging area while maintaining a slim overall profile.
The large 14 x 17 in. (35 x 43 cm) imaging area provides ample room and flexibility to capture X-ray
images large and small, including images of the skull, spine, chest, abdomen and extremities.

technology, the CXDI-50C efficiently delivers high-quality
diagnostic images with minimal X-ray exposure to patients,

Amorphous Silicon Flat Panel Detector of the CXDI-50C
is coated with a scintillator made of an array of tiny Cesium
Iodide (CsI) crystals, which offers the dual benefits of
more effective X-ray absorption and higher signal-to-noise
performance compared with conventional systems.

Thanks to a large imaging area 17in. x 17in. (43cm x 43cm), the CXDI-40EC and CXDI-40EG lets you capture
desired anatomical views for both large an small format X-rays in portrait or landscape orientation – without having to
rotate the detector unit. From examinations of the skull, spine, chest, abdomen, to the extremities, the generous size
of the detector accommodates a wide variety of exams.

The high-sensitivity CXDI-40EC features Canon’s
advanced LANMIT 8 (Large Area New-MIS Sensor
and TFT) detector technology, which enables
the capture of high-quality diagnostic images at
considerably lower X-ray doses than conventionally
required. The key component of this innovative
technology is the Cesium Iodide (CsI) scintillator
that makes up the topmost layer of the Amorphous
Silicon Flat Panel Detector. Composed of an array
of needle-like Cesium Iodide crystals that provide
optimal light-channeling properties, the scintillator
offers more effective X-ray absorption and higher
signal-to-noise performance. This makes the CXDI-
40EC more X-ray efficient and gentler on patients
than conventional systems, and perfectly suited for
pediatric and orthopedic use.
