How to rip your videos to VCD and SVCD !

You will need three appz:

DVD Decrypter 3.5.1.0

STEP 1.

Install DVD Decrypter 3.5.1.0, then insert the DVD into the DVD Rom drive, then
open DVD Decrypter.

Let the DVD Decrypter choose the .vobs, .ifos, and bups. for it self.
Then, go to Destination, and choose the path to transfer the vobs, ifos and bups…

Now, start to decrypt the DVD to your HD by clicking File > Decrypt.

It may take several minutes, after you decrypt the whole DVD, go to Step 2.

Step 2.

Install DVD2SVCD 1.2.2 Build 3, click next, next and next. ;)

Open DVD2AVI 1.76.


Open DVD2AVI 1.76, press F3 and choose the main VOB file, the other VOB files
will be opened automatically, like in this screenshot…

Then click OK.

It will show a screen like this:


Go to FILE > SAVE PROJECT.

It will create one small file with the extension .D2V and another .WAV file.

Step 3.

Install TMPGEnc Version 2.521.


If you want to do a VCD, click in the number 1, SVCD click in the number 2.

(If you get an error with the NTSC setting, try the PAL one)

Then click NEXT.

In Video File, browse the .D2V file that you created with the DVD2AVI 1.76, in
Audio File, browse the .WAV file, then click NEXT. (If you get an error with the
NTSC setting, try the PAL setting)

In this window, click over Other Settings, in Motion Search Precision, choose
Highest Quality (very slow), then click OK, and NEXT. And then, NEXT again…

Then click ok, and that’s it! You’ll have the best quality rips on IRC ! ;D
