“My Ideal Manager”
By Julie C. Domens
According to Meriam dictionary, the word “ideal ”noun means someone that is believed to be
perfect: or someone that you admire and want to imitate. Since it refers to a person, let me
describe the sort of qualities I really wanted to emulate from my previous manager, whom I
considered as ideal one.
My manager
After I graduated, I decided to look for job in Manila. Fortunately, I landed in a job that is quite
relevant to my undergraduate degree, but unfortunately, my manager is as strict as Presidential
Security Guards . We are strictly monitored if we are doing job. Of course we are doing our
jobs; in fact, we are working tasks which are beyond our job descriptions. Three months after, I
decided to leave and look for another job since I cannot take the kind of management that my
manager applies.
