Cutting tools

1. Scissors are hand-operated shearing tools. They consist of a pair of metal blades pivoted so
that the sharpened edges slide against each other when the handles (bows) opposite to the
pivot are closed.Scissors are used for cutting various thin materials, such as paper,
cardboard, metal foil, cloth, rope, and wire.

2.A hedge trimmer, shrub trimmer, or bush trimmer, is a gardening tool or machine used for
trimming (cutting, pruning) hedges or solitary shrubs (bushes). Different designs as well as
manual and powered versions of hedge trimmers exist.

3.BOLO Almost every Filipino household, especially in the countryside, has an BOLO. Though
it can be used for protection, this large, heavy knife/sword is often used to hack at coconuts to
break them open, at large plants and trees, at blocks of wood…BOLO. machete, bolo knife.
