 3 Important city and why


1. Dublin: We have to start talking about Dublin, the capital of Ireland, which is located in the
center of Dublin County, of the capital not only highlights the center, which is the most
lively, but the green places that can be found in the surrounding área.

2. Cork: Secondly, we want to talk about Cork, the capital of the homonymous county in the
province of Munster, which is considered the second most populous city in Ireland, second
only to Dublin. Since the European Capital of Culture was chosen in 2005, the city has
become one of the most visited places in the country.

3. Limerick: We also want to talk about Limerick, capital of Limerick County in the province of
Munster, which is considered the third most populous city in the country, in this place you
will find interesting museums, a beautiful urban layout and even a castle.

 3 Important places landscapes

1. The Cliffs of Moher: So many superlatives have been used to describe these magnificent
cliffs. This is Ireland's most visited natural attraction and with good reason. About one and
a half hours by car from Galway, in neighbouring County Clare, the cliffs are visited by
close to a million people from across the globe each year.

2. The Rock of Cashel: Ireland's most visited heritage site, is the Rock of Cashel, perched
upon a limestone rock formation in the Golden Vale, this magnificent group of Medieval
buildings includes the High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, the 12th-century round tower,
a 15th-century castle, and a 13th-century Gothic cathedral. Tourist attractions include an
audio-visual show and exhibitions.

3. The Ring of Kerry: This area of astounding natural beauty boasts a range of outdoor
pursuits including golf, water sports on pristine beaches, cycling, walking, horse-riding,
and terrific freshwater fishing and deep-sea angling.

1. Irish Stew: Stew is one of those classics of Irish food. No matter what you have, you can
throw it in a pot, add some vegetables, potatoes and you have dinner.

2. Poteen: Poteen is a traditional distilled beverage from Ireland with a high alcohol
content. The poitín is distilled in a small still.

1. Saint Patrick's Day: March 17 marks Saint Patrick's Day, patron of Ireland. What began as a
religious celebration has become a popular and massive party where the color green,
clovers and beers are a distinctive part of the celebration.

2. Summer Day: It is a festival that represents the middle of summer, and the shortening of
the days in its progressive march of winter is traditionally celebrated on any of June 23 or
24.
 Customs

Customs operate blue, green and red channels at most ports and airports on the island of Ireland.
Visitors entering Ireland from the United Kingdom or other EU countries are not required to
declare goods in customs.

 James Joyce: James Joyce was an Irish writer, world-renowned as one


of the most important and influential of the twentieth century. Joyce is
acclaimed for her masterpiece, Ulysses.

 Patrick Pearse: He was a writer and one of the defenders of Irish


nationalism. He had an important role in making the Central Post Office
and has a street with his name in Dublin.

2 Popular people (famous)

 The Cranberries was an Irish alternative rock band that was active
from 1989 to 2019. It was founded under the name of The Cranberry
Saw Us, it was changed later.

 Niall James Horan was born in Mullingar, Ireland, is an Irish singer


and songwriter, known for being a member of the band One
Direction.
