ASK Modulation PDF

The document describes an experiment to construct and study an amplitude shift keying (ASK) modulation circuit. The circuit uses a 741 operational amplifier, BC107 transistor, and various resistors to modulate a 1 kHz message signal onto a 5-10 kHz carrier signal. The output is observed on an oscilloscope and measurements are recorded in a table. The goal is to analyze the waveforms and understand how ASK modulation works.

Pin Configuration for Transistor BC 107 & IC 714:

Procedure:

1. Connect the circuit as shown in the circuit diagram.

2. Adjust the input message amplitude and frequency to 1V& 1 KHz
respectively.
3. Observe the output in DSO at pin 6 of the Op-amp.
4. Tabulate the readings and write the observations.
