Bananya Pattern

So I made an entire pattern in one livestream! Someone suggested I make a banana cat
inspired by Bananya, so here is what I came up with! You can use the same pattern with
different colors to make the whole family!

Materials:
 Red Heart yarn in white, bright yellow, aran, brown
 G hook (4.00mm)
 6mm safety eyes
 Pink felt
 Black and pink embroidery thread
Pattern Key
 Ch: chain
 Sc: single crochet
 Inc: increase
 Dec: invisible decrease
 Sl st: slip stitch
 FLO: front loops only
 Stitch counts are listed in ( )

Banana
in bright yellow
r1. sc 6 in magic circle (6)
r2. sc around (6)

r4. [sc 2, inc] x 3 (12)

Don’t fasten off.

Peels
Now you’ll start the peels. There are 4 of them, worked one at a time in rows. When you finish
each one, fasten off then reattach at r.22 for the next one.

Sc around the side of the peel, fasten off. You’ll need to attach again at the end of the peel and

Repeat for 3 more peels.

Fasten off with a long tail for sewing.

Assembly:
Put safety eyes 4 stitches apart between rows 6 & 7.
Embroider whiskers and nose.
Attach ears and glue pink felt to inner ear.
Sew the inner peels to the banana peels.
Stuff the banana and the cat, sew together with the long tail from the cat.
Attach the arms.
Make a couple lines of brown yarn on the bottom of the banana.
