Records show that you have willingly and voluntarily recognized your child.

Your act of recognizing your child creates an obligation to support her. Be it


reminded that you have the obligation to support your child as required by
law. Those who are obliged to support each other are enumerated in Art 195
of the Family Code of the Philippines;
 The spouses;
 Legitimate ascendants and descendants;
 Parents and their legitimate children and the legitimate and
illegitimate children of the latter;
 Parents and their illegitimate children and the legitimate and illegitimate
children of the latter; and
 Legitimate brothers and sisters, whether of full or half-blood

Furthermore, Depriving or threatening to deprive your child of financial


support legally due to her or her family, or deliberately providing
insufficient financial support is punishable by law.

Thus, this demand letter was sent to you to inform and demand you to
support your child and your spouse according to your financial ability and to
their reasonable needs.

Please abide with this Demand and inform our office of your intention of
settling this case not later than 5 days from receipt of this demand letter or
you may visit our office upon receipt of this demand letter to make an
appointment for a pre-litigation conference where you and the complaint
will be given the chance to talk to each other and settle the case without the
need of filling the case in court.

Thank you very much in anticipation of your favorable and prompt action
with regard hereto.
