CAN BE EARTHED BY INDONESIAN PEOPLE

Abstrak The writing of this paper aims to educate workers in the creative field, How to make a work
that is interesting and can be enjoyed by many people. This research method is done by analyzing and
surveying several existing references. And analyze how good works can be enjoyed by many people
through the attraction of the work. The results of the research will be revealed if a lot of works enjoy.
The conclusion is that good and true works are works that can be enjoyed by many people and make
everyone amazed at the success in creating a work.

1. Introduction

The creative industry like now seems to be on the rise or is being watched by many people, especially
among teenagers. many animation industries are starting to show their work and some have even been
broadcasting abroad. Animation is a visual work that can move, has a unique story and is pleasing to
the eye. So workers in the creative industries must be able to create a work that can be enjoyed by
many people.

The main goal of this research is to know the development of the animation industry in Indonesia and
how enthusiastic and like animation in the community. This research method uses descriptive research
methods with data on how much Indonesian society likes animation and identifies sources of
information from electronic media.

This research method uses descriptive research method that is with data on how much Indonesian
society likes animation and how much works from animation makers in Indonesia.

2. Method

The method I use is descriptive by finding out how much public enthusiasm about animation and how
much progress the animation industry in Indonesia sees from various sources of information in
electronic media.
3. Result and Discustion

The results of research on the creative industry, especially in the field of animation, are high because
of the high interest of young people to work and often held seminars or animation training in various
agencies and several places. Since the beginning of 2013 animation in Indonesia has held a major
international event called the Baros International Animation Festival (BIAF) which was held in Baros,
Cimahi, West Java. And also many animated films that are well known to overseas, one of them is the
Super Neli film that was worked on by Robby UL Pratama from Ayena studio.

Starting at the 2013 BIAF event held at The Edge Baros Hotel, Cimahi, West Java, it was held for 4
days on 23-26 October 2013. This exhibition gave a positive contribution as part of Cimahi's real
efforts to develop the creative cluster industry animation and film not only in West Java but also in
Indonesia. In this event, there was an exhibition booth that was provided for start-up companies
engaged in animation including sponsors such as Autodesk, Blender Indonesia and many more.

Animation training is also useful to tie quality and have the skills to create animation. Usually held by
government institutions such as the Malang City Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Disperindag)
which held an animation training for five days and there were 40 participants. It is expected to be able
to improve skilled, creative and innovative human resources.

Battle of Surabaya is a 2D animated film, drama, action and Indonesian history produced by MSV
Pictures. This young director Aryanto Yuniawan's work featured fictional characters and stories, but
with a background in the history of the Indonesian struggle at the time of the Surabaya war in 1945.
The film trailer has won several awards, including the 2013 Most People's Choice Award IMTF
(International Movie Trailer Festival) and Nominee Best Foreign Animation Award 15th Annual
Golden Trailer Award 2014.

With the character of Super Neli (Nenek Lincah yang menjadi super hero) became one of the Winners
and Recipients of the award, from around 51 characters registered to ASEAN members. This shows
that Indonesian Content is able to compete globally, increasing creativity and innovation in a work is
an important key for Ayena Studio to be able to compete globally.

Also to being the founder of the Animation Workshop, Ronny is currently also active as a Senior
Animator in Singapore. With more than 11 years of experience in the animation industry, Ronny has
been involved in the films The Avengers, Pacific Rim, Noah, Transformers: Age Of Extinction, The
Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Ant-Man, The Great Wall, Warcraft, Ready Player One, Avengers: Infinity
War, etc.

Figure 6 . Infiniti Frameworks Studio, one of the animation studios located in Batam
Infiniti Framework (IFW) focuses on the commitment to advance animation from the development of
creative intellectual rights to the production stage. The IFW animation team has been involved in
works of world animation films such as Happy Feet, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and
documentaries for BBC, Walking with Dinosaurs.

One of the animated film series that airs on Indonesian television, which is enjoyed by all people,
especially by small children because of its humorous and entertaining story. This is proof that the
animation industry in Indonesia is still on television, not inferior to outside animation.

4. Conclusion
The development of the animation industry from time to time has progressed, even though it is slow
compared to other countries. Indonesian animation began to rise in the era of 2010 until now its
development has been very advanced. Starting from great people who have been involved in
Hollywood Box office films and Indonesian animated films that received awards from abroad. As
well as the interest of the Indonesian people towards animation, they began to enjoy.
