The initial data synchronization of Millennium 2005 Platinum to the Central
Office hosted in Singapore will take around 12 – 16 hrs, the steps involved are
illustrated below

1. Copy all the files installed in the respective location server of


Millennium 2005, for examples c:\program files\Harms\Millennium (The
working directory of Millennium)

Note : Once you started the files copy process Step 1 to Step 6, Shambhala’s
users are not allowed to access the Harms Software

2. Send the files to Singapore HQ, via FTP (to confirm again the method to
use)

3. Singapore HQ will download the files and save the folder into Millennium
CO c:\Harms\XXXX, where XXXX refer to property name.

4. Singapore HQ will run the data uploader in Server, which the whole
process is estimated to be 12hrs.

5. After the data uploader complete, Singapore HQ will resend the XXXX
folder back to the respective location server.

6. The respective location IT personnel will download the XXXX and save
into the location server original path. For example, c:\program
files\Harms\Millennium

Only after the files has been successfully download and save back into the
location server, Shambhala’s users are allowed to access the Harms Software.

After which, please installed the Millennium CO Windows Service into the
location server. Refer to next page for the installation procedures.

Installation of Client Component with Millennium CO CD

1 INSTALL MILLENNIUM CENTRAL OFFICE WINDOWS SERVICE TO YOUR


LOCATION SERVER
Millennium Central Office Windows Service is the Component responsible
for all the data synchronization between the location and Central Office.
It is also responsible for getting any data that was created/changed using
the Central Office Web Interface and assigned to that location. If the
service isn’t running then data synchronization does not occur. This means
that no data is pushed from the location to Central Office and no data is
pulled from Central Office to the location.

1.1 Insert the Millennium Central Office Install CD

1.2 On the screen select the Install Millennium CO Client Components

1.3 Select Install Millennium CO Windows Service

1.4 Follow all the steps and click finish

1.5 If during the Installation you have specify that this Millennium CO
Windows Service is serving multiple locations then the following screen
should appear:

1.6 Enter all the Millennium paths that the Millennium CO Windows Service
will be serving.

Obtain a copy of MillenniumCOSrvSetup.msi from Head Quarter, and save it


into your location server.

2.1 Run the installation by double click on the MillenniumCOSrvSetup.msi

2.2 Follow all the steps and click finish

2.3 If during the Installation you have specify that this Millennium CO
Windows Service is serving multiple locations then the following screen
should appear:

1.7 Enter all the Millennium paths that the Millennium CO Windows Service
will be serving.
