Manual Book Of Gps Type 78s

1. Objective : Gps Garmin Type 78s :

GPS (Global Positioning System) is a satellite navigation and


positioning system. This system is designed to provide three-dimensional
position, speed and information about time. GPS can also provide position
information with accuracy varying from a few millimeters
2. Function Of The Gps Garmin 78s :

With Gps you can share reference points, lines, routes and
geocache wirelessly with other compatible device users.
You can rely on Gps to help find your way when needed.
Gps can determine the time, speed, and direction
With Gps you can know the height of an area
And Gps can also save coordinates and track automatically

 Page button : use to scroll through the main pages
 Menu button : use to open the desired menu
 Enter/mark button : use to select the desired menu

 Scroll down button : use to scroll down of the menu
 Scroll right button : use to scroll right of the menu
 Scroll left button : use to scroll left of the menu
 Quit button : use to cancel or return the menu/page
 On/off button : use to turn on and turn off the device
 Find button : use to open the search desired menu
 Screen : use to show the display on the Gps

4. Instruction / steps to use Gps Garmin 78s :

 How to make waypoint

A. Insert the battery and close it again

B. Turn on the device by pressing the On/off button which is red


and wait a few seconds

Turn on
C. Press menu button

D. Scroll down to find the satellite menu and press enter button

E. Then wait for a while to achieve maximum satellite accuracy


(between 3m to 1m).
F. And then, click enter button wait a few seconds
G. After that, scroll down to click ok and press enter button. Finally
your waypoint will be saved

 If you want to find a saved waypoint press menu button and select
waypoint menu
5. Safety Information of Gps Garmin 78s :

 Battery warnings :
 Do not disassemble, modify, remanfacture, puncture of
damage device or batteries
 Do not expose the device or batteries to fire, explosion or
other hazard
 Keep batteries away from children

 Vehicle installation warnings :


 Do not place the device where it obstructs the driver’s view
of road
 Do not place unsecure on the vehicle dashboard
 Do not place the device in front of above airbag

6. Maintenances of Gps Garmin 78s :

 be careful when carrying gps try not to fall, hit from hard objects
 Avoid GPS from being exposed to water
 How to cleaning the device
a. Use a cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution
b. Wipe it dry
 How to cleaning the screen
a. Use a soft, clean, lint-free cloth
b. If necessary, use water, isopropyl alcohol, or eyeglass lens
cleaner
c. Apply the liquid to the cloth, and genty wipe the screen with the
cloth
