Dear Aadya,

2018 was another significant year for BT as we worked hard to transform our company into a
simpler organisation with clearer and stronger accountabilities, where it is easier to get things done,
and where decisions are made faster and closer to the customer. We have also made good progress
against our targets especially given the regulatory and competitive headwinds that we faced during
the year.

A huge part of our transformation is driven by our ambition to make BT a brilliant place to work and
how we support, develop and reward you is key to that. So I am pleased to say that our progress is
reflected in a higher annual bonus pot than last year.

We recently concluded our 2019 pay and bonus review and this letter details what it means for you.

Salary review

Our salary review is based on your performance, how your pay compares to others doing similar
roles, and affordability.

I am pleased to confirm that your salary will increase to INR 418,390 per year which is a 8.00%
increase.

Thanks again for everything you’ve done this year. We are making progress, and we could not have
done it without you. There is more to do, but I am confident that together we will reap the rewards
of our efforts.
