Rules
1. These Rules may be cited as the Construction Industry Development (Register of Contsractors) Rules of 2017.
2. The Construction Industry Development Authority shall maintain a register of Constractors the details of which are
specified in the Schedule hereto.

Industry Development Act, No. 33 of 2014 Read with Section 57 of the aforesaid Act.

Rules
1. These Rules may be cited as the Construction Industry Development (Registration of Quality Management Audi-
tors) Rules of 2017.
2. Any person who wishes to undertake technical auditing of any identified construction work shall make an applica-
tion to the Construction Industry Development Authority (hereinafter referred to as the "Authority") along with any particu-
lars as may be required by the Construction Industry Development Authority to register such person as a Quality Manage-
ment Auditor under this Act.
3. The qualifications required of such persons are as follows:-
(a) Relevant professional qualifications to carry out technical auditing under the said Act ;
(b) Not less than fifteen years of post -graduate experience in the relevant field;
(c) Registered as a Qualified Person under the said Act ;
(d) A corporate member of the professional institute of the relevant discipline or registered under any board of
registration relating to construction industry established by an Act of Parliament.

4. Any person registered with the Authority as a Quality Management Auditor shall, upon payment of the applicable
registration fee as specified in the Schedule hereto, be assigned with a registration number and issued with a Certificate of
Registration which shall be valid for a period as specified in such Certificate.
5. Every Quality Management Auditor registered with the Authority shall prior to the date of expiry of such registration,
make an application to the Authority along with the renewal fee as specified in the Schedule hereto for the renewal of such
Cerificate.
6. For the purpose of these Reules -
"Identified construction work" shall have the same meaning as in the Construction Industry Development Act, No. 33 of
2014;
"Qualified Person" shall have the same meaning as in the Construction Industry Development Act, No. 33 of 2014;
"Technical Auditing" shall have the same meaning as in the Construction Industry Development Act, No. 33 of 2014.

Registration Fee - Rs. 30,000/- (excluding Taxes)
Annual Renewal Fee - Rs. 5,000/- (excluding Taxes)
