The course was designed by William Flynn and Frederic Hood with a design that includes seaside and
inland holes. As one of Massachusetts’s consistently Top 5 ranked golf courses, the course is also ranked
in Golf Digest’s “Top 100 Best Golf Courses in the United States” and is currently ranked #78.

 The Golf Operations Internship at The Kittansett Club is based around hands-on experiences and
building a work-based resume for each intern that works here.
 As an intern, you would gain experience in multiple areas, including:
o Outside Operations
 Range and short game practice area management
 Cart Fleet management
o Golf Shop Merchandising & Inventory Experience
 Restocking the shop
 Specials Orders for members
 Regripping golf clubs for members
o Tournament Operations
 Course Ranger
 Scoreboards

OUTSIDE SERVICES
Designed by award-winning architect Joe Lee, who designed more than 250 courses in his career.
 The Outside Services Assistant is responsible for providing carts and range balls for Members and
Guests while keeping all work areas clean, orderly, and safe. Greeting Members and guests in a
friendly and courteous manner while projecting a professional image.
 Ensuring golf carts are clean, safe, and properly prepared with a towel, full sand bottle, pencil,
scorecard, and tees.

FOOD RUNNER
 Ensured the food went out to the customers at the right time as the Chef intended in a fast-paced
environment.
 Communicated information between cooks and servers to help with the efficiency of the operation.
