GUIDELINES TO PREPARE MINI PROJECT-1 REPORT

FONT

1. Chapter Names : 14 Times New Roman Bold All Caps

2. Sub Headings : 12 Times New Roman Bold All Caps

4. Sub- sub Headings : 12 Times New Roman Bold Title Case

5. Body of the project : 12 Times New Roman

6. Diagrams/table Headings/Figure Headings : 11 Times New Roman Title Case

Spacing

1. 1.2 line spacing between Sub Heading and body text

2. 1.5 line spacing in body text

3. New paragraph starts with a single tab.

Margins

Left 1.25’’ Right 1.0’’ Bottom, Top 0.75’’ (Inches)

Page numbers

Beginning with the first page of the text in the report, all pages should be
numbered consecutively through the appendices.
The abstract title page is considered to be page (i) but the number must not printed.
Front pages

1. Introduction

2. System Specifications

3. Design & Implementation

4. Conclusion

Then Documentation chapters

• Page header should not be present in ‘Declaration’ and ‘Acknowledgement’

• Do not use colons at the end of sub headings

• References in Bibliography must be uniform ( Title of book, Author, Year, page


number)

• Page number is not necessary for the Title pages
