Maintenance of station
Guidelines for VE1A (C4) Station
In most occasions Dirt and moist causes error E-3 or E-5.
It is very important to clean the insulators and cable shown on the pictures on the following pages.

Here are a few pointers to go by.


· When cleaning use alcohol, NO solvents may be used as it will cause damage on parts.
Aim to get the insulators as clean as the one shown on the following pictures.
· You should clean the station according to the maintenance chapter in your manual.

Step 1
Take out electrode cartridge as shown in the picture below

Step 2
View of inside the station

The white insulator should be cleaned.


If any burn marks then replace part.

Connector Pin.
Check for good electrical
contact.

High Voltage Cable.


Clean grey insulating area of the cable.

Step 3
View of insulator in electrode cartridge

Clean the HP contact + insulator. If any burn


marks on insulator then replace it.
Connector clips.
Check for good
electrical contact.

Wires.
Check wires are
mounted as shown.
Always keep short

Step 4
Clean the electrodes. Especially between the electrodes to secure the air exhaust between the
electrodes.

Step 5
Clean the white electrode holder on all 4 electrode and on both the right and left side. As shown in
the picture below.
