(Make sure that each group is composed of different grade
levels.)

2. Each group will be given a chalk board and chalk.

3. Participants will be given 1 minute to watch and observe how

International Phonetic Alphabet is being read. The timer will
start once the Audio-Visual Material is played.

4. Students may request to start even if the AVM is still playing to

beat the time limit. Somebody from each group will shout “WE
ARE IPA READY” for the facilitators to start showing the items
by group.

and they must pronounce the IPA group/s of symbols first
(together) and spell them on the chalkboard.

6. One (1) point will be given if a group gets the correct

pronunciation as they recite altogether and if they spelled it
correctly. Failure to accomplish any from the objectives will not
get a score for the item.

already answered by the first group.

8. Maximum score is five (5) points for 5 minutes.
