USD200,000, covering furniture items of Reconnaissance design shipped from
Hong Kong to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia was confirmed by the Advising & Nominated
Bank.
An amendment added USD100,000 for framed oil paintings with pornographic themes.
The Confirming Bank advised the amendment without adding confirmation to USD100,000
because pornographic works would be confiscated by the Saudi Arabian import authorities
due to religious reasons.
The Beneficiary argued that
