THE ROAD
This movie tackles about a psychological condition of the protagonist (Luis).
When he was a young he was suffer in different abuse from his own mother. At that
young age he’s been isolated in their house. It is not typical horror movie which is to
scare the audience instead to promote awareness that mental illness is not easy as
what we think. You can’t cure him by your own wisdom thought it should be treated
by psychologist, psychiatrist which is expert in this field. His way of escaping the
reality is to terminate his own life and absolutely it is against the will of God, you’re
supposed to preserve your life not to terminate. Suicide is also often a refusal of love
for self, the denial of natural instinct to live.
Somehow in my opinion can we blame him in his decision? Since he was
just a victim of his abusive mother, may not be necessarily be justifiable in doing so,
but may at least be morally excused. This because the one who committed suicide,
no longer sees any valued future ahead of him.
All things considered life is miserable and we are challenged by the question:
“Are you willing to continue an existence ruled by the pain, discomfort, humiliation,
shame and intense suffering?” Eventually it should be serving as a guide to conquer
these challenges given by the God. It makes us stronger enough to be fighter,
independent and live worthy. When we die everything is over, you may no longer
see your love one, you may consider as none being or non existence. Biblically
principle we are like a soldiers of God, we’re incline to fight for our battle. Our role in
this world is to complete our duties.
Bullying is a common scenario happen at school, public places, home etc. It is begins with
superior one with fellow members, their aim is to have fun through name calling, verbal abuse,
