A. Ask the students the following question/s
1. What are the different musical elements?
2. Give one representative musical selection of the Lowlands of Luzon and
describe it in terms of the musical elements.
Development of the Lesson
A. Activity
Let the students listen to one of the musical selections of the Lowlands of Luzon and
let them observe the relation of it to its culture and geography.
B. Analysis
Ask the students the following question/s
What can you say about the musical selection?
Relate the music to its culture and geography.

Ask the students the following question/s
How important is music to the culture and geography of the place or province?
D. Application
Let the students name their favorite song and let them describe it by means of
their relation to the culture and geography of the place or province.

Give a short quiz about the lesson discussed.
V. Assignment
Look for the different musical instruments of the Lowlands of Luzon.
