I. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:

1. Determine the different types of sewing machine.

2. Identify the different uses of sewing machine.

3.Cite the importance of sewing machine.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

A. TOPIC : DIFFERENT TYPES OF SEWING MACHINE AND THEIR USES

C. MATERIALS: Laptop, pictures of sewing machine and stitches.

III. PROCEDURE

A. Preparation

Ask one of the students to lead the prayer.

Checking of attendance.

B. Motivation

Ask the students what they see in their school uniform and let the
students examine it.

C. Lesson Proper

1. ACTIVITY

The students will match a picture of different sewing machine


stitches to the appropriate sewing machine pictures.
2. ANALYSIS

What is sewing machine?

What are the difference types of sewing machine and their


uses.

3.ABSTRACTION

Why do we use sewing machine?

How will you going to run domestic sewing machine?

What do you call a sewing machine used to make intricate


embroidery designs on given fabrics

4. APPLICATION

What are the difference between the lockstitch/domestic


sewing machine and the hi-speed lockstitch sewing machine?
