Tutti Viola

May 2017

Auditions must be unaccompanied. Candidates MUST use the same instrument in


orchestral tuning (A440) for the solos and excerpts.

Solo – 1st movement | exposition only (unaccompanied)

01 - One of:

• Bartok – Viola Concerto


• Walton – Viola Concerto
• Hindemith – Der Schwanendreher

AND

02 - One of:

• Stamitz – Viola Concerto (no cadenza)


• Hoffmeister – Viola Concerto (no cadenza)
