Aubada October

Aubada has developed rapidly in recent months, achieving many goals and skills. The teacher observed Aubada drawing at the table with other children, showing confidence and a proper pencil grip. This demonstrated Aubada's development of fine motor skills from practicing Montessori activities. Aubada enjoyed tracing and feeling the lines of squiggles he drew while singing "Baby Shark", and was able to identify one squiggle as a baby shark and act out swimming. The teacher praised Aubada's intelligence and hopes to continue providing experiences that build confidence in controlling his body.

Aubada - Fine Motor Skills


Learning priority: exploring and gaining control of your bod and
movement

For the past few months, I can see that you have developed rapidly.
You have achieved so many goals and acquired a variety of skills,
Aubada.

One day, while the older children were practicing writing, you were
observing them. You came to the table and grabbed a pen and paper.
You were very confident. I am so impressed with your pencil grip. You
must have practice using a pen before. This really showed that you
have acquired fine motor skills since you have been doing lots of
montessori activities.
I like how you draw your squiggles and you traced on the drawing with
your other finger. You could feel the lines as you move your fingers
around the squiggles. You really like the texture that it has made. While
you were drawing, you were singing baby shark song. When I asked
you what was drawing was about, you pointed to one squiggles and
said, baby share and showed a swimming gesture using your body.
Masha Allah, what a smart boy you are, Aubada.

experience that will help you gain confidence over your body.
