Main Screen :

The Main Form Appears as the Application is opened bar contains following options.

1) Login(On): Click the Button to View Logon Form for login into Mega Trader.
2) Logout(Off): Click the Button to logout of the Mega Trader. (Button is normally active after a successive
Login).
3) Application Settings: Click the Button to view window, to set up Interactive and Broadcast’s IP Address
and port.
4) Exit Application: Click the Button to Exit the Mega Trader Application. (You have to be successfully
logged out before you can Exit the Application).

File Menu :
File Menu contains below options:

I. Login (Ctrl + L).


II. Logout (Ctrl +O).
III. Save Work Space.
IV. Save Work Space As.
V. Delete Work Space.
VI. Exit (Ctrl +E).

Save workspace will save all the


opened window size and
position.

Save workspace will helps user


to Save Multiple work space by
giving User defined name with
respect to each opened

Log In :
File Log In or press Keys Ctrl + L.

The Logon Form is displayed at the center section of the application.

1) LOGIN ID: It shows the User Id.


2) Password: For Insertion of the User’s Password used to Log In.
3) New Password: Where User ID New Password is inserted as Member changes his/her old Password
4) Confirm Password: Where the input is same as above user’s New Password, Re-Inserted for the
validation checkup.
5) Download Contracts: Allowed exchange Contract file will be downloaded.
6) Connection Settings: Connection Settings allows user to set IP Address and Port Number of Interactive
(system on which manager is installed) and TCP Broadcast (system on which Broadcast manager is
running).

To Log In:-

 Click on the File menu Log In to invoke the Logon window or user can select Logon window by clicking
Login button on the Icon bar.
 Enter your User ID and Password created in User Management and then click on Login button.(If it’s
your First Log In or want to Change Password Instructions are provided)

 After successful login, user can view the User ID at the Left Top of the Icon bar.
 Followings are the instructions/guidance to Login Failure Occurrence, Changing Password, Password
Expired and User First Login.

User Attempt First Login :

When Login In the First Time:-


 Click on the File menu  Log In to invoke the Logon window or user can select Logon window by
clicking Login button on the Icon bar.
 Enter your User ID and Password created in User Management and then click on Login button.
 When user login in for the first time he/she gets Password Expired message so, he/she has to change
Password.
 Password should be combination of numeric, special character and alpha numeric.
 Password Length must be between 6 to 12.
 Important note: Password will expire automatically after 15 days period. User has to change password
after every 15 days.

 Login Failure Occurrence While Entering Wrong Password :

 Error Message due to user providing wrong Password.

 Error Message due to user not providing Password.

 Change Password :

To Change Password:-
 Click on the File menu  Log In to invoke the Logon window or user can select Logon window by
clicking Login button on the Icon bar.
 Provide User ID and Current Password, followed by the New Password and Retype New Password into
Confirm Password in the Logon Window.
 New password can’t be same as previous three passwords.
 Click Login button to Change Password.
 After successful login, user can view the User ID at the Left Top of the title bar.

 Downloading Data:

 After Successive Login Order, Trade, Net Position will be downloaded into Mega Trader of Particular
Login ID.

Log Out :
File Log Out or press Keys Ctrl + O.

When user wants to logout


from the system he/she can
click here.

To Log Out:-
 Click on the File menu  Logoff to Log Out or user can simply Log Out by clicking Logout button on the
Icon bar.

Save Workspace :
File  Save Workspace.

 Save Work Space will save all open window size and Position.

Trade Book (F8) :

 This Trade Book window will show all the information related to order executed by the exchange and
converted into trade.
 By Default it shows all the information of Trade Book. User can drag down for filtering trade book.
 Trade Book can also be saved in Excel File. By using the Export to Excel Option as shown below.

 Hide column:
This Option is helps to Hide Specific Column.
 Column Profile:
This Option is using for changing Column Sequence by Simply Drag and drop specific Column and
User can also change Header Text Of Specific Column as per their understanding and also hide Specific
Column.

This Option is save whatever Custom changes User has applied on Grid.
 Size to Fit:
This Option will fit the Column as per Column Header text Width.

 This Net Position window shows all the information related to current Net position of market. User can
view the information of total quantity traded of symbol.
 Net position window will also shows the trading summary of all the symbols.
 An order in a Net position can be Square off as below, to book profit.

Contract Information:

 As per Selection of Gateway, Contract Information will be displayed.


 This View window shows full contract information with respect to Exchange, Instrument, Options, Script,
Expire Date and Strike Price selected from the combo Box.
 Instrument: This option will provide the facility to select the Instrument. I.e. AUCBI, EQUITY, UL,
etc.
 Symbol: This option will provide the facility to select the particular script name.
 Expiry Date: This option will provide the facility to select Expiry Date of the contract.

Market Menu :
Market Menu contains the below options.

I. Market watch
II. Market picture
III. Snap quote

If user selects Monitoring menu then it will show the following


options.

 Market Watch: if user wants to view current market,


he/she can click on market watch menu or can press F4
key.
 Market Picture: if user wants to view top five market
depth, he/she can click on market picture menu or press
F5 key.
 Snap Quote: if user wants to view a high price and low
price of script he/she can click on snap quote or can press
Ctrl+F9.

Market Watch :

 This Market Watch window shows all the information related to current position of market. User can
view the information selected with respect to Exchange, Script as well as Expiry date from the combo
box.
 Blue color shows the increase in the buy price or sell price of order whereas Red color shows decrease in
the buy price or sell price of order.
 If user not selected any date from the Expire date then by default it will take 1st Jan 1970.
 User can open the Market watch window by just pressing F4 also.
 User can place Buy or Sell Order by pressing F1/F2 Key.
 Market watch gives the extra facility which includes:
 Drag and Drop column facility.
 User can press the insert key from the keyboard for inserting the blank row in market watch
same as user can press the Delete key for deleting the script from market watch.
 If user will be logout and then again want to login then still user can view the all market watch
scripts.
 User can view the form of Order Entry of Buy and Sell by just pressing F1 or F2 from the
 key board as well as user can press + key for buy and – key for sell.

 This Market Watch window allows user to make a new Security Portfolio and also give the facility to
save that Portfolio.

 This Market Watch window allows user to select the portfolio which is already created by the log in user.
After selecting portfolio user can able to view all the script stored in that particular portfolio.

Buy Order (F1):

 This Buy Order window allows user to make an order with respect to Exchange, Order Type, Order
Validity, Symbol, Expiry date which are selected from combo box.
 Here User can view only that exchange for which he/she has permission to access.
 User can invoke the Buy order window with short cut key F1 also.
 Order can buy with a Low Price by default.
 Control + Page Up key -- >High Price.
 Control + Page Down -- >Low Price.
 Up and down arrow works with respect to Price tick up and Price tick down.
 User can select order Type RL or SL.
 As per selected order Type user can select validity type.
 In RL Order Type user can select Day, IOC and EOS type of validity.
 In SL Order Type User can select Day, IOC and EOS type of validity.

Sell Order (F2):

 This Sell Order window shows Sell Order information of the according to selected Order Type. User can
invoke the Sell order window with short cut key F2 also.
 Control + Page Up key -- >High Price.
 Control + Page Down -- >Low Price.
 Up and down arrow works with respect to Price tick up and Price tick down.
 User can select order Type RL or SL.
 Order can be sell by High Price by default.
 As per selected Order Type user can select validity type.
 In RL Order Type user can select Day, IOC and EOS type of validity.

 This Market Picture window shows all the information of best five buyers and sellers with respect
to Exchange and script as well as Expiry Date selected from combo box.
 At a time user can open five windows for the different scripts.
 Blue color shows the Buy Price.

Order/Trade contains following options :

I. OrderBook(F3)

If user selects Order Entry then it shows the


following Options

 If user wants to see Order Book, he/she can


click on Order Book or press F3 Key

Order Book(F3) :

 This Order Book window shows all the information related to order placed by the user. User can view
the information selecting with respect to exchange, Order type, Order status as well as date selected
from the combo box.
 If user selects all option then By Default it shows all the information of Order Book.
 This Order Book information includes:
 Book Type: This Order Book window will allow user to select the Order type.
 Status: This field shows the status of the Order. There are different types of order status.
 EPending: This option will show all the information of Orders which are confirmed by the
Exchange but not traded.
 Executed: This option will show all the information of Orders which are traded by the Exchange.
 Manager pending order: This option will show all the information of Orders which are pending
to the Manager.
 ERejected: This option will show all the information of Orders which are rejected by the
Exchange.
 Cancelled: This option will show all the information of Orders which are cancelled by User.
 Validity Type: Order validity includes Day, IOC and EOS.
 Day: All outstanding orders with the validity are cancelled by the system at the end of trading
day.
 IOC: After putting order it will executed immediately or cancelled.
 EOS: All outstanding orders with this validity ware cancelled by the system at the end of trading
session.
 This Order Book window allows User to modify the existing order by just pressing a F1/F2 on a selected
script with modify order option.

 Modify :
 It modifies pending order which is confirmed by the Exchange.
 Only Price and Qty can be modified as per user selection.

 Cancel/Fresh :
 User can cancel selected order and placed new order in market with same price.

 Immediate Execute:
 It allow user to modify the selected order on LTP.

 Cancel :
 It will cancel the Process of Order Which raise by User By pressing F1/F2 Key.

 Cancel All :
 It will cancel all pending orders which are confirmed by Exchange.

 Cancel All Buy :


 It will cancel all buy pending orders which are confirmed by exchange.

 Cancel All Sell :


 It will cancel all sell pending orders which are confirmed by Exchange.

If user selects Tools menu will show following options.

I. Preferences: if user wants to customize his application


forms, he/she can click on Tools MenuPreferences
option or can press keys Ctrl + R.
II. Application Settings: if user wants configure Broadcast IP
Address and Port, he/she can click on Tools
MenuApplication Setting option. Lock WorkStation:
Whenever User wants to lock workstation, user can click on
Tools MenuLock Workstation option or can press keys
Ctrl + Shift + L.
III. Import Configuration: User can Import all client settings
like Workspace, Grid Column Profile etc. from Manager.
IV. Export Configuration: User Can Export all client settings
like workspace, Grid column profile to Manager.

Preferences :
It uses to customize the UI.

Application Setting :

 This Application Settings window allows user to set IP Address and Port Number of Interactive (system
on which manager is installed) and TCP Broadcast (system on which broadcast manager is running).
 Interactive IP Address and port can’t be set when logged in.

 User can lock the application for security purpose. This disable access to all application forms.
 Application can only be unlocked by password.
