Impeller Sanding Blasting Machine

Completing a custom metal fabrication job is far more complex than manufacturing a regular
metal part. The measurements have to be precise, and all of the procedures have to be carefully
chosen (including the kind of finish that would suit the part being made). It has been found that
sandblasting offers a distinct advantage for most custom metal fabrication jobs.

The term sandblasting is used within the metallurgical industry to refer to the process of
propelling very small pieces of material at a high speed in order to clean or etch a surface.

As firearm specialists, we know how valuable this service can be to our clients. Below are some
reasons why we should use this technique for our next metal project, including:

 Quick and easy cleanup. When we say quick and easy cleanup, we mean both the
cleaning of the surface and the cleaning of the project space afterwards. Sandblasting
provides a quick way to clean contaminants hard surfaces like metal. When it might take
double or triple the amount of time if you were to clean it another way. After the
sandblasting, cleaning up after the service is easy because the practice typically calls for
laying down equipment to protect surrounding areas from the sand. This makes project
clean-up a breeze!
 Along with cleaning surfaces, sandblasting also provides a great way to prepare surfaces
for various coatings and sealants. The sandblasting gets all dirt and contaminants off of
the surface so the coatings will adhere better. As an added bonus, the film left after the
sandblasting prevents the rust that occurs after metal is exposed to the air.
 Environmentally friendly and non-toxic. One of the greatest benefits of sandblasting is
that it is usually both environmentally friendly and non-toxic. Unless outside pollutants
are added to the sandblasting equipment, it remains harmless to the environment. It is
also non-toxic for those around the sandblasting! The typical products used in
sandblasting have been proven to be safe if inhaled, unlike most coatings and cleaning
products.

Renishaw Equator
Equator gauging systems have helped to improve yield and increase process capabilities of
production lines around the world, by providing high accuracy dimensional inspection data next
to turning and machining centres, at the point of manufacture.

Gauging system also provides an independent and traceable test of part quality, with the
difference that all the operators can use it rather than just quality staff – currently a quality
inspector walks around the plant constantly checking that procedures are being followed and
parts are good.

Laser Marking Machine and Automation

Laser marking technology is more widely used in printing field in recent years and laser marking
can be applied to several materials, for instance, plastic and rubber, metal and silicon chips. In
comparison to the traditional mechanical engraving, chemical corrosion, network printing and
oil ink printing, laser marking is characterized by low cost and high flexibility and can be
controlled by computer system. Below are some advantages of laser marking.

1. Permanency:

Marks will not be degraded due to the environmental factors (such as contact, acid or alkaline
gas, high or low temperature, etc.)

2. Anti-counterfeiting:

The marks engraved by laser marking technology can not be forged or changed easily with
strong anti-counterfeiting to certain extent.

3. Non-contacting:

Laser marking is made by non-mechanical “photo knife” and marking can be made on any
regular or irregular surface. The marked workpiece will not produce internal stress, and the
original precision of the workpiece can be ensured. It neither corrodes working surface nor
wear “cutting tools” without any poison or pollution.

4. Broad application:

Processing means of laser can be applicable to the processing of several metal and non-metal
materials (such as aluminum, copper, iron and wooden products).

5. High engraving precision:

The articles engraved by laser marker are in fine and elegant patterns and the width of the
smallest line can reach 0.04mm, with clear, lasting and elegant marking. Laser marking can
satisfy the demand of printing plenty of data on very small plastic object, for instance, two-
dimensional code with more precise requirements and higher definition. By comparing with
impressing or spraying marking way, it has strong market competitiveness.

6. Low operation cost:

Marking speed is fast and marking can be made for once only but the operation cost is quite
low. In spite of the larger investment of the laser marking equipment than the traditional ones,
the cost of laser marker is very much lower from the perspective of operation costs.

7. High processing efficiency

Laser beam controlled by computer can be moved in high speed (the speed as high as 5~7 m/s)
and marking can be finished within several seconds.

8. Fast development speed

With the combination of laser and computer technology, the user can realize laser printing
output by programming through computer and can change the printing design at any time,
which replace the traditional module manufacturing process essentially and providing
convenient tools for shortening upgrade cycle of product and flexible manufacturing.

Ceracoting Machine

Cerakote is a type of gun coating and finish, sort of like a paint and sealant at the same time
much in the same way that lacquer serves as a finish and sealant for wood.

Cerakote offers some distinct advantages over other finishes. First, the material has a good
degree of lubricity, acting as a lubricant once the finish has been applied. Compared to other
lubricants, Cerakote attracts far less in terms of dirt, dust and other particles, keeping the gun
cleaner and ensuring better operation.

Cerakote is also a more effective barrier against oxidation and corrosion than bluing. This is
advantageous for firearms that are carried in a marine environment (live on the coast?) or may
be exposed to a lot of sweat (carry gun during hot summer months) or exceedingly hot and
dusty (or the desert?) environments as well.
