Summer training at Lark Engg. Pvt. Ltd. was a great experience. My heartfelt gratitude to people
who have been a part of this report has been made possible through the direct and indirect
cooperation of various persons for whom I wish to express my appreciation gratitude.

First and foremost, I am intellectual debt is to those senior officials who have positively lent a
hand to me a and imparted me valuable information which are extensively used by me in writing.
I would further like to extend my gratitude to Dr. Varinder Gandhi (Principal), Dr. Madhu
Kapoor (HOD of Commerce and Management Deptt.) and Ms. Bhumika, Lecturer for
providing me guidance and precious knowledge about the company and my project.

PREFACE

The beginning of a project is entirely creative. This does not come through the earth or in sudden
flash of lighting, but in the result of the discussion, consultation and contemplations. Whenever
research project is initiated it is necessary to define the problem clearly so as to observe the insight
goals. Although problem analysis is a slow process and it may prove tidies, frustrating or new
obstructionist to insist on a clear accepted view of what is to be achieved yet it is the most important
part of the research project which can move the whole project. In recent part, there has been as
unusual growth in the marketing research and a great increase in the sophistication of techniques
used during the last two decade these day the most existing development are occurring in the
decision theory, advance statistical and analytical procedure and in the application of experiments
to the marketing strategy and marketing information and the Marketing Problem. Now when I have
completed my Project and confidant. I am sure that, if I as assigned a new job. I can do it without
much differently and may be in a better way. This report has been divided into three different
sections. The report starts with the introduction to Lark Engg. Pvt. Ltd. Then the main topics of
“LETTER OF CREDIT”.
