inventory/ customer’s warehouse condition.

o Each pallet have marks for easier identification and


inventory control refer to type of refractory, size,
quantity and at which area they shall be install, etc.

o Transportation from PT. Indoporlen’s warehouse to
customer warehouse.
HANDLING
PROCEDURE & Check all necessary documents (packing list, MSDS,
TRANSPORTATION and COA) shall be done prior product delivered.
All pallets shall secure to the body of vehicle to avoid
fall during transported.
All pallets shall covered by vinyl sheet to prevent
dust blowing out and against rain (if using open
truck).

For loading purpose if using the container truck, the
pallet should transfer from ware house in to the truck
using the “Loading Bridge” with one by one pallet
transfer.

The transporter shall inform to delivery officer
immediately if a problem arise both caused by

All workers involves shall obey the project safety


regulation. Minimum specifications of equipment
used shall:
a) Overhead crane = Min. capacity 2.5 ton
b) Fork lift = Min. capacity 2.5 ton
c) Truck = Min. capacity 5 ton
d) Steel wire rope = Min. Ø 10 mm (for lifting
hanger)

o Safety and safety devices

All workers who will take care material handling shall


pay attention to work in safely, personal safety
equipment shall use according to working condition.
Minimum personal safety equipment shall use are:

a) Safety Helmet
b) Gloves
c) Dust masker
d) Safety shoes
e) Safety glasses
f) Ear Plug / ear Defender

o Refractory castables, mortar and bricks must
STORAGE generally be stored in ventilated,covered, and dry
PROCEDURE rooms with good protection on all sides against
weather conditions. The floor must provide sufficient
support and be dry, therefore shall pay attention in
storage them, make sure all pallet secure from high
humidity and water. Recommendation for humidity is
max 60 %.

o If castable, mortar and bricks have to filled up and


store at the outdoor, the lowest pallet shall have
elevation from floor for about minimum 10 cm to
prevent moisture or water from bottom. All surface
shall ensure covered by vinyl sheet to preventing
rain and high humidity air during stored.

o Make sure all pallets accessible placed and


arranged according to type of product and

“FIFO system” (First in First Out) can be done.

o Product storage limit:


a) Castable and mortar products = 12 month
after the date of production.
b) Fire brick product = Unlimited (as long storage
condition follow the procedure).
c) Silica boards & Kaowool = Unlimited (as long
storage condition follow the procedure).
d) Insulating fire brick = Unlimited (as long
storage condition follow the procedure).
e) Precastblock / Special shape = Unlimited (as
long storage condition follow the procedure).
f) Asphalt coating = 6 month after the date of
production.
g) Plain Chain Link Fencing = Unlimited (as long
storage condition follow the procedure).
h) Stainless steel anchor = Unlimited (as long
storage condition follow the procedure).
