CARINA CONVENTIONAL FIRE DETECTION

The CARINA fire detection unit is a conventional type panel including 8 zones. Its
total capacity is 256 detectors.
It is DNV and WheelMark certified. It is suitable for any application.

Functions

• Fire and fault monitoring (insulation defect, open or short-

circuited in an area)
• Main supply automatically switched over to the backup supply
if lost
Automatic return to the main supply when it is available again
• History of the last 500 events with timestamping
• Day/night lighting
• 3 access levels:
- Level 1 = all users have read-only access to information, to
the audio alarm acknowledgement, to the test function and
to the Day/Night lighting function
- Level 2 = keypad code access for anyone having a safety
responsibility for fire or fault resetting. Unit intentional
prolonged stoppage
- Level 3 = keypad code access for anyone having a safety
responsibility for configuration creation or modification

The CARINA fire detection unit is a conventional type panel • Through a flat keyboard on the front panel through a PC
including 8 zones. connected to the serial port (RS232):
Its total capacity is 256 manual call points or detectors, with a - Identification of zones
