I am writing in regard to the history teacher position at Colorado River Union High School
posted on the Arizona Education Employment Board. I have a bachelor’s degree in Educational
Studies through Arizona State University. Teaching is a passion of mine and I feel like I would be
a great addition to your faculty. Through my program I had courses in Educational Technology,
Children’s Literature, and Childhood Development that I feel will have a meaningful impact in
my success for this position. I enjoy working with children and being a contribution to their
success which gives me great motivation which I feel would just make me that much greater of
an asset to your school. Your requirements match my skills for the following reasons:

 College level World History completion


 College level educational technology to aid in communication with students and parents
 Experience with childhood development to understand and meet student’s
developmental progression and meet their needs

I also have 15 years as a paramedic in public service and still maintain certification which has
