NSF Rated means potable water, safe for human comsumption. Aka NSF-60,
NSF-61, NSF-PW.
UV Rated means rated for use outdoors in the sun and also with high
intensity UV light sources (Grow houses, algae farms, etc.)
Furniture Grade means safe for use outdoors in the sun. Will not discolor or
become brittle. Has no writing on it and has a nice smooth shiny exterior
finish.
Most pipe is PVC, some is CPVC. Most CPVC is also NSF rated and can take
up to 180F continous temperatures. (Standard PVC is rated to 140F.)
*
Wall thickness, weight, and inner diameter can vary up to 5% unless
otherwise noted. The Outside Diameter is held to a much tighter tolerance;
usually within .25%
**
Stock refers to pipe sold "by the foot" and less than full length quantities.
If we sell it "by the foot" there is an excellent chance we can sell it in 10' or
15' or 20' sticks. However such purchases have to be shipped via LTL truck
(10' and 15') or Flatbed Truck (20') which gets expensive unless you are
buying large quantities of pipe. Please contact us via email for questions and
pricing of 10', 15' and 20' sticks of pipe.

Disclaimer: Pressure ratings above are for a temperature of 68-
73F. See de-rating chart below for higher temperatures.
PVC Pipe 100% 90% 75% 62% 50% 40% 30% 22%
Note: The temperature ratings above are for the temp of the pipe, not the fluid traveling
through it. Typically the temperature of the pipe is much less than the fluid going
through it due to radiation (heat loss) and the heat barrier effect, ie the insulating
properties of the pipe.
