For Post Qualification Tenders
TENDER NO. 01/RCL/2017-18
The Directorate of Archaeology invites online bids in two cover system, from
qualified Original Equipment Manufacturers or their National distributors/ dealers, who have
an Annual Turnover of minimum Fifty Lakhs for the last 3 years in selling Handheld X-ray
Fluorescent Analyser, Calibration Software and allied equipments, for the supply of
following stores.
1 Name of work/details of store Handheld X-ray Fluorescent Analyser,
Calibration Software
2 Estimate Amount Rs. 49,80,750/-
3 Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) 1% of quoted rate
4 Tender Document Fee Rs.7500/- + 12% GST = 8400/-
5 Period of completion 1 month

Tender documents and tender schedule may be downloaded free of cost from the e-
GP Website www.etenders.kerala.gov.in. A bid submission fee, cost of tender document
along with EMD mentioned above should be remitted through online payment mechanism for
e-procurement system of Govt. of Kerala.
All bid/ tender documents are to be submitted online only and in the designated
cover(s)/envelope(s) on the e-GP website. Technical bid and financial bid shall be submitted
in their respective designated online covers. Tenders/ bids shall be accepted only through
online mode on the e-GP website and no manual submission of the same shall be entertained.
Late tenders will not be accepted.
The scanned copies of Technical Bid documents (Duly filled), attested copy of
Company Registration Certificate, Preliminary Agreement (in Kerala Stamp Paper worth
Rs.200/-), Bid Capacity Certificate and EMD exemption certificate (if any) in designated
technical bid cover and quoted sheet in designated financial bid cover shall be submitted
online on or before 03/03/2018 3.00 PM.
Bid capacity certificate means annual turnover of Fifty Lakhs for the last 3 years in
Handheld X-ray Fluorescent Analyser, Calibration Software. Audited statements from
chartered accountant and tax return filings details for the last 3 years are to be submitted
along with the bid and who are not submitting bid capacity certificate will be summarily
rejected.
The financial evaluation will be based on the total cost of the items. The lowest
quoted amount will be selected and agreement shall be executed accordingly.
The technical bids shall be opened online at the office of the Director of Archaeology,
Sunadaravilasam Palace, Fort. P.O, Trivandrum-23 on 08/03/2018 at 11 AM, any technical
persons in the presence of bidders/ their representatives who wish to attend at the above
address. If the tender opening date happens to be on a holiday or non-working day due to any
other valid reason, the tender opening process will be done on the next working day at same
time and place.
Online Tenders/ bids are to be accompanied with preliminary agreement executed in
Kerala stamp paper worth Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only). Tenders/bids received
online without EMD, bid submission fee and preliminary agreement will not be considered
and shall be summarily rejected. Further details can be had from O/o Directorate of
Archaeology, Sundaravilasam Palace, Fort.P.O, Thiruvananthapuram - 23 during working
hours from 10 AM to 5 PM.
All other existing conditions, regarding Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT) in the Kerala
and all other condition prevailing for consideration of the tenders and allied orders will be
applicable to this tender also. The Director of Archaeology will not be responsible for any
error like missing of schedule data while downloading by the tenderer.
All the conditions in the REVISED STORE PURCHASE MANUAL-2013 will be
applicable to this tender. The Director of Archaeology reserves all rights to accept/ reject the
submitted tender without assigning any reason. On evaluation of considering tenders, regard
would be paid to National defence and security.
