THERAPEUTICS OF CHECKEN POX

 ANTIMONIUM CRUDUM
It suits to cases where the fever is less and digestive troubles are marked. Patient is fretful
and perish and cannot bear to be touch or looked at. Does not wish to speak or be spoken
to, angry with anylittele attention.Anxiuos laerymose mood. Despair, sensitive to all external
stimuli.

Eruptions with hard crusts, throat with honey like stieky discharge, vesicles and
pustules sensitive to add bath especially on vertex. Loss of appetite. Thirst increased in
evening and night. Desire acidic and pickles. Constant beleching and eructation tasting of
ingeste. Diarrhoes lternate with constipation. Cough with burning sensation in chest. Chilly
even in a warm room. Tongue thickly white coated.

 RHUSTOXICODENDRON

Useful in developed stage of chicken pox, great restlessness an anxiety, apprehension ,

cannot remain in bed, must change position in often to obtain relief from pain , great
sensitiveness to open air, sleepless before midnight, then heavy sleep as from stupor.
Delirium with fear of poisoning.
A dynamic fever with agitation , chill with sensation of cold water , perspiration of whole
body , but not on face, vesicular eruption with itching, not ameliorate by scratching.
Eruption is almost always discharging. Tongue white coated, triangular red tip, facial
neuralgia, cheek bones sensitive to touch. Fever blisters around the mouth, went of appetite
with bitter taste in mouth. Great thirst especially for cold water.

 PULSATILLA
It suits when the pustules are very large, suited to phlegmatic constitution, weeps easily and
likes sympathy. Fear of being alone especially in the evening, symptoms are ever changing,
restlere and unrefreshing sleep with handle overhead.
Fever with chilliness even in warm room, chillies around 4 pm with intolerable burning heat
at night. Heat in parts of body with coldness of other parts and distenmeded veins. External
heat is severe, frontal headache with supra orbital pain. Loose cough in morning dry cough
during evening and night. Must sit up in bed to get relief. Dryness of mouth and lips with
bitter taste, fever without thirst, eruptions are large, pustules surrounded with blue area.

Used as an eliminator in case of eruptive fevers, it drains out the toxins from the organism
but is preferable not to use in the beginning.
Highly irritable patient, over sensitive to external stimuli, talke, jerkes and twitches during
sleep.
Slight noise wakens. Fever with frequent flashes of heat, violent ebulitions of heat
throughout the entire body. Night sweats on the hepe of the neck and occiput. Perspiration
of single parts, disgusting sweat, eruptions with intense itching, constant heat on top head,
milk disagreal, aversion to bath.

 ACONITE
Useful in early stage, sudden high fever aggravated at night, great anguish of mind and body.
Sudden and great sinking of strength. Great fear anxiety and worry, fear of death and predict
the day and date of death even in trivial illness. Fear of crowd and crossing a street.
Restlessness, pains are intolerable, drive him crazy, music is intolerable.
In fever, chill stage is more marked, cold sweat and icy coldness of body. Chill started in feet
and going up to trunk. Skin hot and burning, face is red but pale when the patient sits up.
Pulse is hard, full and bounding, skin red hot with maculopapular rashes, burning headache,
Hoarse, dry and croupy cough.

THERAPEUTICS OF HERPES ZOSTSER

 RANUNCULUSBULBOSUS
Acts especially upon the muscular tissue and skin, patient is irritable, sensitive to air and
touch .Delirium tremens, herpetic eruptions with great itching, shingles , bluish vesicles ,
itching in palms , vesicular and pustular eruptions. Irritable pain in forehead and eyeballs,
sensations of mist before the eyes as is from smoke. Herpes on the cornea, vesicles on the
cornea with intense pain, Photophobia and lachrymation.

 IRIS VERSICOLOR
Herpes zoster associated with gastric derangement, pustular eruptions, irregular patches on
skin with shining scales.
Neuralgia beginning in the infra orbital nerve and involving whole face, frontal headache
with nausea. Neuralgia worse at rest. Profuse flow of ropy saliva, deficient appetite.

 DOLICHOS PURENS
Intense itching with no swelling or rash. A right sided medicine with marked liver and skin
symptoms. General intense itching without eruption. Exalted nervous sensibility.
Hepatomegaly, yellow spots on skin, itching excessively at night.
THERAPEUTICS OF MEASLES

 BRYONIA ALBA
Exceedingly irritable delirium, wants to go home, talks of business. The patient is broken
down, becomes immobile and is afraid of any movement which is aggravated. Fever is
accompanied by throbbing, dryness’ of mouth, intense thirst for large quantity of water at
along interval. Face is flushed often profound sweat. Intense headache aggravated by least
movement. Cough without expectoration, cough with pain in chest. Lips parched dry and
cracked tongue coated yellowish, dark brown, bitter taste and loss of appetite.

 ANTIMONIUM TARTARICUM
Great dependency , fear of being alone , chils clings to those around , wants to be carried ,
cries and whines if anyone touches, will not left to feel the pulse. Adapted to torpid
phlegmatic persons. Fever with trembling and chillness. Intense heat but coldness feels on
touch, copious perspiration of cold, clammy sweat with fairness, hoarseness of voice, great
rattling of mucus but very little is expectorated. Pustular eruption on skin, leaving a bluish
red mark, Nausea, vomiting, and retching especially after food. Desire for apple, fruits and
acids. Headache with yawning and lachrymation. Patient is very much prostrated.
Irreversible inclination to sleep. Electric like shocks on falling sleep.

 EUPHRASIA OFFICINALIS
Useful in catarrhal stage of measles. Profuse acrid lachrymation and bland coryza. Catarrhl
conjunctivitis, eyes water all the time. Discharge thick and excoriating, burning and swelling
of lids. Violent cough with profuse expectoration vomiting from hawking mucus, fever with
chilliness. Sweat ostly on chest, at night and during sleep. Used in first stage of measles.

 APIS MELLFICA
Apis is characterised by swelling of various parts with red, rosy hue and stinging pain. Fever
characterised by afternoon chill, generally thirst less, but thirst only during chill satge. Sweat

stage absent or very slight with sleepiness, sleeps after fever paroxysm.
Hoarseness with oedema of larynx, eruptions like nettle rash, extreme sensitiveness with
stinging pain, tongue fiery red, swollen, sore and rew with vesicles. Tongue feels scolded,
red hot and trembling, and stinging headache.

 MORBILLINUM
Prepared from the exudates of mouth and pharynx of patient suffering from measies.
Measles with phlyetenular conjunctivitis. Acute coryze , nasal voice with nasal and ocular
catarrh, hyper thermia up to 39ͦ C. Kopilek’s spots present, stridulous laryngitis, difference
bronchial rates. Rosy round and oval macules on skin. Miliary rash and skin eruptions.

 CHLORALUM, HYDRATUM

Marked effect on the skin, producing erythema, ecchymosis, emotional excitability and
hallucination. Passive cerebral hyperaemia. Eyes blood shoot and watery. Illusions of sight,
when eyes are closed or at night. Red blothes like measles. Erythema aggravated by
alcoholic drinks. Intense itching. Body extremely cold to touch. Conjunctivitis with burning
eyes.

 CMPHORA OFFICIANALIS
Fluent coryza and continuous sneezing, fever with congestive chills, pulse smell, weak and
slow, cold perspiration, face pale haggard and anxious. Very sensitive to cold and touch.
Useful in sequel of measles, when eruptions are suppressed, skin cold, pale and cyanosed.
Ocaipital throbbing synchronous with pulse, patent will not be cored in spite of icy coldness
of body.

THERAPEUTICS OF DENGUE FEVER

 EUPATORIUM
Fever with chill at 9 am one day and moon the next day. Irresistible thirst before and during
chill and fever. Knows chill is coming because he cannot drink enough. Bitter vomiting at
close of chill. Drinking hastens chill and causes vomiting. Bone pains before and during the
chill, bruised feelings as if broken all over the body , bone affecting back , head , chest, limbs
especially the wrists as if dislocated. Pains comes quickly and go away quickly, panful
soarness of eyeballs, coryza and great prostration. Throbbing headache tongue yellow
coated with bitter taste. Soreness in right hypochondrium . Fever is followed with scenty
sweat. Pains make patient restless.

 POLYPORUS PINICOLA

Useful in intermittent and bilious fever with headache, yellow coated tongue, constant
nausea, faintness in the epigartrium and constipation. Great lassitude and congestion of
head with vertigo. Face hot and flushed, pricking sensation all over. Restless at night from
pain in wrist and knee. Rheumatic pain , profuse perspiration , headache about 10 am with
pain in back, nape of neck , increasing till 3pm then gradually decreasing.

 ELSEMIUM
Desire to be quiet , to be let alone , does not wsh to speak or have anyone near her even if
the person be silent. Nervous , hysterical and over anxious . Fever with chill down , rapid
 wave like succession from sacrum to oeiput , heat and sweat stages long exhausting. Bumb
ague with mested muscular sourness, great prostration and violent headache with band lke
sensation around the eye. Crampie in muscles of limb especially of forearm , excessive
trembling and weakness of limbs. Hysterical convulsions, wants to be held because he
shakes so much. Lirrid spot on skin. Maclopapular rash especially on limbs and face. Tongue
numb, thick and yellow coated , profuse urination.

 CROTALUS HORRIDUS
Low septic fevers with general disorganization of blood, haemorrhage and jaundice , clouded
perception and memory , loquacious with a desire to escape. Dull, heavy ocepital pain
especially right sided. Very sensitive to movements . Must walk on the top of toes to avoid
jarring. Eyes shows yellow discolourationand are very sensitive to light. Leed coloured rashes
on face. Glossitis with fiery red tongue. Billious vomiting and heamemesis , pain in right
hypochondrium , high rise of temperature followed by odd sweat. Extremities very weak
and swollen , tendancy to form boils and cerbuncles.

 NUX VOMICA
Very irritable, sensitive to all impressions. Cannot bear noise, odours, light etc. does not
want to be touched. Fever with chill stage predominates. Paroxysm anticipates in the
morning. Excessive riggor with blueness of finger nails. Aching in limbs and back. Chilly wants
to be covered in every stage of fever, soar perspiration and chillness on being uncovered.
Dry heat of the body body burning not especially on the face, skin red and blotchy. Backache
in lumbar region, must sit up in order to turn in bed. Burning in spine worse 3-4 am , bruised
pain below scepulac . Sensation of sudden loss in power of arms and legs. Dryness of eyes
with photophobia, nausea and vomiting with retching, stomach region very sensitive to
touch. Constipation with frequent in effectual urging.

THERAPEUTICS OF CHICKUNGUNYA

 BRONIA ALBA
Exceedingly irritable , delirium , talks about daily business , wants to go home , fever with
pulse full , hard tense and quick. Chills with external coldness. Dry cough stitches, internal
heat , sour sweat after slight excretion. Easy profuse perspiration knees knees stiff and
painful , hot swelling feet , joints red, hots swollen with stitches and tearing. Every spot is
painfull on pressure, content motion of left arm and leg . Painful stitches in nape and neck.
Stitches and stiffness in small of back. Skin hot and painful , Brusting splitting headache , lips
parched, dry and cracked. Dryness of mouth with excessive thirst.

 ARNICA MONTANA
Fears touch or approach of anyone, inability to perform continues active work. Nervous,
cannot bear pain, whole body over sensitive, says there is nothing the matter with him ,
fever with shivering of whole body heat and redness of head with coldness of rest of the
body . Internal heat and nighty sour pain in back and limbs as if bruised, cannot walk erect
on account of bruised pain in pelvic region. Ascending type of pain, everything on which he
lies seem to hard, sleepless and restless.
