STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
As in today’s generation we are surrounded by technologies. In everyday’s life we are using more than 3 to 4 social
networking sites namely , whatsapp , facebook , instagram , snapchat etc. As using social networking sites has positive
impacts like :-
1. It helps to connect with our friends.
2. It helps us to know the information about others culture through interacting with people staying in different part of the
country or globe.
3. It helps us in forming groups for studies.
On the other hand it has many negative impact on one’s life:-
1. It affects our health mainly eye.
2. Overuse of social network reduce our acadaemic marks.
3. It also makes us unsocial.
4. Cybercrime.

RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS
• There is meaningful relationship between social media and youth.
• Social media are more of a demerit as compared to merit if both the
parameters are evaluated.
• The youth is more inclined towards fields of entertainment other than relevant
information derived sources.
• The participation of youth is invisible in social gatherings due to
overutilization of social networking.

• Casual Research Design.
SAMPLING DESIGN
• 30 respondents were only students, who filled a questionnaire. The data
collected were carefully assessed to the statistical software i.e spss and the
results were taken, as they were required for the analysis of this research
study.
• Judgement sampling technique can be used for data collection.
• On the basis of data collection, we can use the sampling design techniques to
know the quality and quatity of the student response.
• It is simple random sampling method.
DATA COLLECTION METHODS
• We have used google forms to collect data from the youth.
• Hence the data collected through primary data collection.
