According to Adam Felman (2018, October 26). Anxiety is a normal and often healthy
emotion emotion however when a person regulary feels disproportionate level of anxiety it
might become a medicare disorder. Anxiety disorder form a category of mental health diagnosis
that lead to excessive nervousness, fear, apprehend, and worry. These emotions alter how a
person processes emotionss and behave, also causing physical symptoms-mild anxiety might be
vague. Other than that, Kimberly Holland (2018, September 19). Anxiety is your body’s natural
response to stress it’s a feeling of fear or apprehension about what’s to come the first day of
school, going to job, or giving speech may cause people fell fearful and nervous but if your
feelings on anxiety are extreme last longer for six months and interfering with your life you may
have an anxiety disorder. It’s normal to feel anxious about moving into new place, starting new
job or taking a test. This type of an anxiety is unpleasant but doesn’t interfere with your
everyday life. In the case of an anxiety the feeling of fear may be with you all the time it is
intense and sometimes debilitating. This type of an anxiety, stop to doing things to enjoy. In
extreme cases it may prevent you from entering an elevator, crossing the street, or even leaving
your hope. If left untreated the anxiety will keep getting noise.
Anxiety are the most common form of emotional disorder and can affect anyone of any
age. According to the American Psychriatic Association, women are more likely than men to be
diagnosed with an anxiety. As stated in Blue Beyond, anxiety is more than just feeling stressedor
worries. While stress and anxious feeings are a common response to a situation where we feel
under pressure, they usually pass once the stressful situation has passed, or ‘stressor’ is
removed. Anxiety is when these anxiousness feelings don’t go away – when they’re ongoing and
happen without any particular reason or cause. It’s serious condition that makes it hard to cope
with daily life. Everybody feels anxious from time to time, but for someone experiencing anxiety,
these feelings aren’t easily controlled. Anxiety is the most common mental health condition in
Australia. On average, one in four people – one in three women and one in five men – will
experience anxiety at some stage in their life. In a 12 month period, over two million australians
experience anxiety. Anxiety is common, but sooner people with anxiety get support, the more
likely they are to recover.
Eden quoted ‘’ I masked my anxiety with alcohol for a number of years. ‘’ She’s saying that
having an anxiety is very difficult, you’re being to anxious on how you look, how you will cope
with them, how to come up with that kind of disoder and how will you mask it. Especially in
teenagers nowadays they took it as a joke saying that they are depressed or having anxiety even
though they are not. It might be a fun experience if they say that. In the current alcohol, drugs
and suicide thoughts are the things that will be helpful for masking that anxious. Anxiety is a
kind of disorder that if it last longer it will be an illness and turning yourself to think that suicide
is the easiest way to left that anxiousness. Kimberly Holland (2018) added that anxiety feels
different depending on the person experiencing it. Feelings cam range from butterflies in your
stomach to a racing heart. You might feel out control, like there’s a disconnect between your
mind and body.
Other ways people experiencing anxiety include nightmares, panic attacks and painfu
thoughts or memories that you can’t control. You may have a general feeling of fear and worry,
or you may fear a specific place or event. For many people, an anxiety builds slowly. It may
worsen as a stressful event approaches. Anxiety can vary greatly and symptoms may differ
among individuals. That’s because many symptoms of anxiety don’t happen to everyone, and
they can change over time.
The researchers are not sure why teenagers and adults have the most highest percentage
of having an anxiety. Researchers also state that anxiety is very tough to deal with, not easy to
break. Anxiety is like punishing your mental emotions. It is unmanageable if you’re taking it just
by yourself. But, it is likely anxiety must get a lot of attention before it turns to a very severe
condition. In addition researchers believe that it may affect a lot in self, you can’t do things
because of having an anxiety or anxiousness, you can’t enjoy those things you’ve like before it
means fear may be impacted for the rest.
In line with Theresa Nguyen (2018). People often described feeling worried or anxious.
Feeling scared or worries is a normal human experience. Often feeling worried or fearful is an
instinct we developed to protect ourselves from harm. When too much fear effects your life, it
might you have an anxiety. Anxiety is a type of mental illness where people feel overwhelming
and intrusive fear or anxious. To be diagnosed with an anxiety, would worry too much than
normally expected. They might worry about things that don’t seem worrisome to others and
they spend much of their time bothered by their worry.
As believed by Black Dog Institute (2018). Anxiety is when feeling anxious in certain
situations can help us avoid danger, triggering our ‘fight or flight’ response. It is how we evolved
to keep ourselves safe. Sometimes though, we can become overly worries about perceived
threats – bad things that may or may not happen. When your worries are persistent or out of
propotion to the reality of the threat, you may have an anxiety. There’s what we call severe
anxiety when we’re very anxious, we have intense feelings of worry or distress that are not easy
to control. Anxiety can interfere with how we go about our daily lives, and make it hard to cope
with ‘normal’ challenges. It’s important to seek help to manage severe anxiety. There are many
effective treatments for anxiety and you can feel better, but if you didn’t pay attention to it,
might gives you suicidal thoughts.
Along with Nermous (2014). Reviewed by D’Arcy Lyness, PhD. It's completely normal to
worry when things get hectic and complicated. But if worries become overwhelming, you may
feel that they're running your life. If you spend an excessive amount of time feeling worried or
nervous, or you have difficulty sleeping because of your anxiety, pay attention to your thoughts
and feelings. They may be symptoms of an anxiety problem or disorder. Anxiety is a natural
human reaction that involves mind and body. It serves an important basic survival function:
Anxiety is an alarm system that is activated whenever a person perceives danger or threat.
When the body and mind react to danger or threat, a person feels physical sensations of
anxiety — things like a faster heartbeat and breathing, tense muscles, sweaty palms, a queasy
stomach, and trembling hands or legs. These sensations are part of the body's fight-flight
response. They are caused by a rush of adrenaline and other chemicals that prepare the body to
make a quick getaway from danger. They can be mild or extreme. The fight-flight response
happens instantly when a person senses a threat. It takes a few seconds longer for the thinking
part of the brain (cortex) to process the situation and evaluate whether the threat is real, and if
so, how to handle it. If the cortex sends the all-clear signal, the fight-flight response is
deactivated and the nervous system can relax. If the mind reasons that a threat might last,
feelings of anxiety might linger, keeping the person alert. Physical sensations such as rapid,
shallow breathing; a pounding heart; tense muscles; and sweaty palms might continue, too.
Everyone experiences feelings of anxiety from time to time. Anxiety can be described as a
sense of uneasiness, nervousness, worry, fear, or dread of what's about to happen or what
might happen. While fear is the emotion we feel in the presence of threat, anxiety is a sense of
anticipated danger, trouble, or threat. Feelings of anxiety can be mild or intense (or anywhere in
between), depending on the person and the situation. Mild anxiety can feel like a sense of
uneasiness or nervousness. More intense anxiety can feel like fear, dread, or panic. Worrying
and feelings of tension and stress are forms of anxiety. So are stage fright and the shyness that
can come with meeting new people.
Researchers conclude that having an anxiety is not a joke. Anxiety can be normal and can
be severe, sadly untreated anxiety might turn into a depression if did just neglect having that
kind of illness can missed some oppurtunities in many careers. Mental emotions are very
important to a person, it gives emotions on how you feel, being worried, fear or are you just
anxious. Being anxious can protect you from danger or threats. Researchers added also that
anxiety can develop at any age, it can be kids, can be teens and also adults, can’t be known
what exactly causes of anxiety.
