AMERICAN BREAKFAST TABLE SET-UP

Waiter: Good Morning Ma’am/Sir. Welcome to CWMFI RESTAURANT (Name of Restaurant).


Guest: Good Morning.
Waiter: Do you have any reservation Ma’am/Sir?
Guest: No, I don’t have.
Waiter: May I suggest a table for you Ma’am/Sir?
Guest: Yes please.
Waiter: Which do you prefer smoking or non-smoking area?
Guest: Non-smoking please.
Waiter: This way please.
Guest: Okay.
(Upon arriving to the table)
Waiter: Would this table be alright for you Ma’am/Sir?
Guest: Yes, Certainly.
(Waiter will assist the guest)
Waiter: Please, have a seat Ma’am/Sir?
Guest: Thank you.
Waiter: Would you like me to assist you in putting the table napkin on your lap?
Guest: No, I can manage.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. Would you like some refreshing juice or coffee before your
meal?
Guest: No, only water please.
(The waiter gets water on Waiters Station)
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. Here is your water.
Guest: Thank you.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am.
(*Note: If the guest orders Juice or Coffee relay it to the Bar Station and inform the Bartender)
[Waiter: Excuse me, Mr. Bartender can I have a 1 Lemon Juice for table no. 1
Bartender: Here is the Lemon Juice.
Waiter: Thank you.]
(Waiter gets the Menu Book on the Waiters Station)
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. Here is the Menu Book for your Food and Beverage selection.
Guest: Okay, thank you.
Waiter: Would you like me to stay here or you will just call me at the Waiter Station.
Guest: I’ll just call you.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir.
Guest: Waiter…
Waiter: Yes Ma’am/Sir. Are you ready to order?
Guest: Let me have a scramble egg, fried rice and bacon. And for my beverage is a brewed
coffee please.
Waiter: Would you like to try our chef’s specialty which is Russian Napoleon Cake. It is a
satisfying dessert and it is made up of 3 layers of custard cream.
Guest: Sure, let me try it.
Waiter: I will just repeat your order Ma’am/Sir. 1 scrambled egg, 1 fried rice and bacon. For
your beverage a brewed coffee and a Russian Napoleon Cake for your dessert, was that all
Ma’am/Sir?
Guest: Yes, exactly.
Waiter: Your order will be served after 20mins.
Guest: Okay.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir.
(Kitchen Area)
Waiter: Excuse me Mr. Chef here is the order of table no. 1
Chef: Okay
(Bar Station)
Waiter: Excuse me Mr. Bartender can you prepare me a brewed coffee for table no. 1
Bar Personnel: Okay
(Cashier)
Waiter: Excuse me Ms. Cashier here is the order slip of table no. 1
Cashier: Okay
(And now you’re ready to serve the order of the guest)
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. Here is your order a scramble egg, fried rice and bacon. Enjoy
your meal Ma’am/Sir.
Guest: Thank you.
(After the guest ate)
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. How was the food?
Guest: It was good.
Waiter: Thank you for that compliment. It gives us the motivation to enhance our service. Are
you done with your food Ma’am/Sir?
Guest: Yes.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. I will just clear out the soiled dishes.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. I will just crumb the table.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. Here is the Russian Napoleon Cake for your dessert. Enjoy your
dessert Ma’am/Sir.
Guest: Thank you.
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir. May I now serve your brewed coffee?
Guest: Yes, please. Thank you.
(After the guest ate)
Guest: Waiter, bill please?
Waiter: Alright Ma’am/Sir.
(At the Cashier)
Waiter: Excuse me Ms. Cashier can I have the bill/payment of table no. 1 please?
Waiter: Thank you.
(At the table)
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir, May I present to you your bill.
Guest: (Gives the payment to the waiter)
Waiter: Ma’am/Sir I receive P1, 000. Just wait for your change.
Guest: Okay
Waiter: Excuse me Ms. Cashier here is the payment of table no. 1
Waiter: Excuse me Ma’am/Sir here is your change.
(Assist the guest in bidding goodbye)
Waiter: Thank you Ma’am/Sir for patronizing our restaurant, we look forward for your next visit.
