MEMORANDUM OF UNDERTAKING
This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERTAKING states the terms and conditions that govern
the contractual agreement between Katy Events Specialist Inc having its principal place
of business at Pag-asa St. Brgy Caniogan, Pasig City (the “Company”), and Rogelio N.
Jamantoc (the “Client”) who agrees to be bound by this Contract.
WHEREAS, the Client is conducting Mr. & Mrs. Jamantoc Renewal of Vows, 50th
Wedding Anniversary, on December 21, 2015 (the “Event”); and
WHEREAS, the Company agrees to manage the Event according to the terms and
conditions herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, In consideration of the mutual covenants and promises made by
the parties within this Contract, the Company and the Client (individually, each a “Party”
and collectively, the “Parties”) covenant and agree as follows:
1. COMPANY’S DUTIES. The Company shall handle the management and
planning duties for the Event in the manner described on the following:
Pre-Event planning
Physical set up of Event site
Welcoming Event attendees
Preparing and distributing Event materials
Food/beverage preparation
Speaker accommodations
Post-Event analysis
2. PAYMENT. The total cost to be paid to the Company by the Client for the
services hereunder shall be ONE HUNDRED THIRTY SEVEN THOUSAND
SVEN HUNDRED FORTY PESOS (P137,740). The dates on which payments
are due 10% THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT DATE (AUGUST 21,
2015); 50% DUE A MONTH BEFORE THE DATE OF THE EVENT
(NOVEMBER 21, 2015) AND FULL PAYMENT ON THE DATE OF THE EVENT
(DECEMBER 21, 2015). (Note: depends on your computation)

3. CANCELLATIONS. In the event circumstances change and the Client must
cancel the Event, the Company will make its best efforts to modify its planning to
reflect the Client’s needs. However, the Client agrees and acknowledges that a
change in short notice may cause severe complications for the Company and
thus the Client shall forfeit its deposit of 10% in the event the Client must cancel
the Event within one month or 30 days of the stated date of the Event.
4. PROMOTION. The Client hereby authorizes the Company to utilize the Client’s
logo and associated trademarks as well as any media, photos, or footage from
the Event, in promoting the Company’s services.
5. NO MODIFICATION UNLESS IN WRITING. No modification of this Contract
shall be valid unless in writing and agreed upon by both Parties.
6. APPLICABLE LAW. This Contract and the interpretation of its terms shall be
governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines and
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in
Philippines.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, each of the Parties has executed this Contract, both Parties
by its duly authorized officer, as of the day and year set forth below.

Antipolo City. A three-hectare garden venue in San Jose Extension in
Antipolo, built up from a little-used family property into a lush garden

We suggest you take Sumulong Highway as traffic may be unpredictable via
Ortigas Ext.
(via Sumulong) Take At the end of C5 (east bound), where road ends/forks,
take right leading to Marcos HW (as left side brings you to Katipunan). Road
forks after 200 meters. Take overpass to Cogeo (not to Marikina) leading you to
Marcos HW. After 5 KM, turn right to Sumulong Highway. After 10 KM, turn left to
Sumulong Memorial Circle (north side). After counting 3 tiny streets (or 0.8 KM)
on your left, turn left to San Jose Ext. After 50 meters on your right is Jardin’s
orange fence. (from Antipolo Cathedral) As you go out of the Cathedral, turn left
to M.L. Quezon St. Left to Carigma St. Left to San Jose St. Cross De La Paz St.
Cross C. Lawis St. Cross Sumulong Memorial Circle After 50 meters on your

7. You may opt to create new ev ent like birthday, christening, wedding, debut..Just
make it simple, Mas simple mas madali ang buhay…They will deal with the
details of your event so don’t make it too complicated for you..hehehe
8. You need to come up with an event that you will earn profit.
9. The flow of assessment will be: Part 1: orientation which the assessor will explain
to you on how to make an event proposal; Part 2: oral
questioning/interview(individual) and Part 3: Presentation of your event proposal,
you will sell your event proposal to the assessor as your client.
10. The given sample to you will still vary depend on the assessor. SO, I don’t
encourage you to bring a complete printed output of your event proposal becoz
maybe the assessor will have a different format/presentation for output. Just
prepare your soft copy..Make the sample photos smaller enough only if ist too
many…
11. Please find time to real the CBC and Training Regulations on Events
Management Services NCIII specially those with no background about
events…The following will give you an idea on what you should know in event
mgt…
12. The sample event proposal that I made was very simple and rushed so, pardon
me if there are lots of mistakes. No one gave me an idea like what im doing to
you.hehehe. Kindly adjust what are the things to be corrected and improve for
your own event proposal. But the basic format/details are there…

Sample questions during oral interview and tips to answer:
(Note: more on situational in handling an event like safety measure of the people
(staff & clients) and the place, protocol/SOP, legal issues like contract and permits)
1. Where will you seat the president of the phil, VP, senators etc…(Highest position
must be on the right then follow by next in the position etc..)
2. Why do you need to inform the barangay bout your event to be held? ( For
security reasons and permits to apply)
3. What will you do if you are out of budget or the clients exceed the budget? (Talk
to the client and honestly tell that your out of budget)
4. What will you do if one of your staff during the event is already stressed out.? (
Remove the staff from the event venue and let her/him cool down.)
5. Will you allow your staff to carry furnitures/appliance in the event site?? ( Follow
protocol/SOP and consider safety measures first)
You will be asked aroung 3-5 questions. The assessor sometimes will lead you to
the right answer. Be honest if you don’t know the answer.
FINAL TIP: BE HONEST IF YOU DON’T KNOW DON’T HESITATE TO ASK
QUESTION IN A NICE WAY, BE HUMBLE AND NEVER NEVER ARGUE WITH
THE ASSESSOR. DON’T PISSED OFF THE ASSESSOR. MOST OF THEM ARE
KIND AND WILLING TO HELP YOU… good luck and Im confident
