Before you begin...
I recommend sewing the hair in contact points (as per my hair assembly instructions) but if you
prefer you can glue the hair strand by strand with fabric glue. You can also do a combination
of sewing and gluing. Make sure to crochet the hair very loosely. If you use sport weight yarn/
same weight as what you made the doll with then you will need to use the 24 strand bottom
hair instructions - if you use a larger weight (like worsted) then you may only need to use the 22
strand instructions for the bottom of the hair (these instructions will be in blue).

Hair Assembly
Don’t tug too tightly when sewing, after I sew a contact point (where the pin
is) I usually pull on the strand just a little.
If gluing hair follow the pin instructions and unpin one strand at a time, glue
and hold (repin), repeat! Be sure to use a glue that is permanent and washable like
Fabri-Tac not tacky glue!

sew in the loop

behind the strand

sew up

After sewing bangs to front of the face start running the needle through where your
pins are (contact points) I like to sew the hair by running the needle through one
strand then to the next strand on the opposite side of the head then back through to
the next contact point.
